The profane and hysterical "The Book of Mormon" took home nine Tony Awards on Sunday including the prize for best musical, a considerable achievement for a pair of first-time Broadway playwrights known more for their raunchy cartoons featuring potty-mouthed kids.
Trey Parker and Matt Stone, creators of the Emmy Award-winning "South Park," found a kindred soul in Robert Lopez, who co-wrote the Tony-winning "Avenue Q," and all three found themselves with plenty of awards when they collaborated to gently mock Mormons and send-up Broadway itself.
Collecting the best musical prize, a subdued Parker, who tied Josh Logan of "South Pacific" with four Tonys in one evening — said he'd be remiss if he didn't thank his late book co-writer — Joseph Smith, the founder of the Mormon religion.
"You did it, Joseph! You got the Tony!" Parker said looking skyward and holding up his award.

Excuse me? I’m not sure who exactly you think I am, but I do know this, you seemed to have an unhealthy obsession that makes you label anyone who dislikes conservatives fighting conservatives as part of a cult. I see five including myself.
As a former mental healthcare professional, I would suggest that you recognize your problem. It’s the first step to healing.

Actually I see why you were pinged, post 32, you came out to defend Mormonism on this thread.
I have never defended Mormonism and I hope you read what I posted to you before it was deleted at my own request.
I didn’t see it, I’m not saying that you are defending their theology, or actively pushing Christians to abandon Christ, but as you showed when you jumped on this thread, you will defend the Mormon religion’s image by getting involved in defending them and promoting the message that it is wrong to go against them. That is defending Mormonism and serving their agenda.
You should re examine your actions rather than going after their critics.
At this point, I can only conclude that you ear either unwilling or unable to tell the truth, given that I haven't defended Mormonism once in this entire thread.
I'll give you yet another chance (#5, for those keeping count).
In this very thread I've stated that I think that Mormon theology is a bunch of hooey and full of mythological absurdities. Please explain how this demonstrates a dedication to Mormonism.

The Mormon cult is on a massive push into mainstream America, you can be of assistance to them, or you can resist them, make a choice.
Well, FWIW... I like them more *after* hearing this musical then I did before... This is about the musical, and how terrific it is, for me. I like Mormons a lot more than some of the others on this thread. You know... the ones that don't sound fun to be around at all. :~)
Most Mormons are my political allies. They vote conservative in overwhelming majorities.
I'm here for the politics, not to help you ensure Christian board purity. On this board, I fight liberals and folks who attack conservative candidates.
I'm not interested in what you think about my methods.
Like I said, you choose to defend Mormonism and seem pretty dedicated to it by that post.
