Why did Democrats fire on Gov. Scott for trying to stop identity theft?
The US Report ^ | June 13, 2011 | Kay Day

Democrats in Florida have targeted Gov. Rick Scott in a desperate measure to help their Party regain absolute control of the federal government in 2012.

One item Party leftwingers and select advocacy groups are harping on relates to the Florida Legislature’s efforts on verifying the immigration status of some workers. Democrats can always count on media to back them up on such matters. The Tallahassee Democrat quoted an activist: "The lead story on Univision for over a month was the new epicenter of racism is Florida."

Fact is the issue had nothing to do with racism, and verification would protect both citizens and immigrants. Democrats ignore some facts on the matter; it is possible they are simply ignorant of the facts.

Consider information disclosed by the Center for Immigration Studies: “Eight of the 10 states with the highest percentage of illegal aliens in their total population are among the top 10 states in identity theft (Arizona, California, Florida, Texas, Nevada, New York, Georgia, and Colorado).”

Foreign nationals in the country illegally have to have a social security number to get a job. How do you suppose they obtain such a number? Remember the fiasco associated with Meg Whitman’s housekeeper? Media played the housekeeper's tears for all they were worth; not a single reporter ever asked her how much damage she did to the person whose social security number she [allegedly] stole. Nor did they ask the housekeeper how much in tax refunds or childcare tax credits she received.

On a national level...

I have utter contempt for Democrats. When the Dems finally initiate CWII, it will be a pleasure to kick their reprobate asses.

I have noticed that channel 7 in Panama City had turned llberal in the last few months. Today they were reporting on how unpopular Governor Scott is. If they keep this up I will simply change channels.

Their vicinage is very conservative btw.

To democrats it’s not a move against identity theft.

It’s a plan to purge “undocumented democrat voters”.

I haven’t watched any of the local channels since BO was elected. My local news comes from the radio and online.

Channel 7 knows this is a conservative area and they have a captive audience. Who are you going to watch, us or the goons at Channel 13?
