Albert Mohler, President, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary
June 20, 2011 (AlbertMohler.com) - Is President Obama about to endorse same-sex marriage? The possibility was the subject of open speculation on the front page of Sundays edition of The New York Times. Reporter Sheryl Gay Stolberg quoted an unnamed Democratic strategist close to the White House, who said that the Presidents advisers are considering the political costs, if any, of such an action.
When President Obama ran for office in 2008, he stated that he was opposed to same-sex marriage, but he ran as an ardent supporter of the homosexual community. This week, he will host a $1,230-a-plate Gala for the Gay Community in New York City. Stolberg also reports that the President will host a gay pride reception at the White House on June 29. The issue of same-sex marriage will inevitably be discussed, especially given the fact that the New York legislature may be poised to legalize same-sex marriage as early as this week.
Interestingly, Stolberg cites the fact that, even as candidate Obama ran as one opposed to same-sex marriage, he may have been for same-sex marriage before he was against it.
She writes: In 1996, as a candidate for the State Senate in Illinois, Mr. Obama responded to a questionnaire from a gay newspaper. I favor legalizing same-sex marriages, Mr. Obama wrote, and would fight efforts to prohibit such marriages.
President Obama has already called and worked for the repeal of the militarys Dont Ask, Dont Tell policy and has instructed his Attorney General not to defend the Defense of Marriage Act in court. Same-sex marriage seems like the logical next step, given the Presidents record.
Nevertheless, an open endorsement of same-sex marriage by an incumbent President of the United States would be a very significant and troubling development. If he were to do so, President Obama would not only repudiate his former position(s), he would push this nation toward the unraveling of civilizations most central institution marriage.
The unnamed Democratic strategist said that President Obama is clearly a president who is interested in making big historical changes . . . I think this issue has moved into that context for him.
The realm of politics is as corrupted by sin as is any other dimension of creation and human culture. Here is a prime example of that fact. With this article, the White House is moving forward in gauging the political costs of such a move. The very fact that this article appeared in a Sunday edition of The New York Times indicates that the White House is well down the road of endorsing same-sex marriage. If this strategist is right, President Obama sees himself as the leader who can make big historical changes. Well, this one is big, indeed.
Such a move would represent nothing less than a moral revolution. Furthermore, the one who makes such a move would be nothing less than a moral revolutionary.

Surprise? Hardly. If 0bama were to announce his divorcing Michelle and marrying some dude, that might rise to the level of surprise.

Heres the way I see it. Hussein is gay and Hussein is married. I rest my case You may be absolutely CORRECT
Maybe I'm digging up bones? Maybe not. I'm submitting this to you just as it initially was to me recently.
This has quietly been talked about for awhile by many friends I have that live in Chicago and here in Nashville. This may shed some light on, and explain, an awful lot of the things that have been railroaded through legislatively, against the people's wishes, since Obama took office in Jan 2009. He may be being
blackmailed so to speak.
Before you read the 10 month old blog article, read this
comment excerpt emailed to me earlier today by a longtime friend of mine in Chicago regarding what the following article attempts to point out.:
The Blago trial should be wrapping up any day now and I have no trouble whats-so-ever believing Rezko is being held until it's over. The whole thing involving him and the others mentioned scares the $hit out of me because of the number of people in Washington who have links to Chicago. (check out Jarret's father Vernon, a long time columnist here).
Daley quits, Emanuel is elected before anyone votes and Bill Daley moves to Washington...very, very shady and powerful. If Eric Holder is the guy keeping a lid on all this $hit, he's a very busy man. Fitzgerald seems like one of the few with balls enough to take on these guys. He made his bones in New York bringing down the Gambino's and has been involved in prosecuting some big-time cases...but, why did oblama keep him on if he's so potentially dangerous to him? Illinois is not a good state to be living in these days...The dots of connection are a 4 lane highway heading east...
The following blog article by Wayne Madsen tends to explain for me why so many political decisions that do not make sense could have been put through under this administration. Obama may have NO choice but to tap dance or be exposed for what he ISN'T.
Check this story out: A very interesting read. It connects an awful lot of dots.
A good friend of mine who's in the music publishing business originally turned me on to this story very recently.
An awful lot of the dots seem to connect up. Don't jump to any conclusions until you fully read Madsen's article.
You're the judge as to any validity..

Then check out the credibility of the author Wayne Madsen.
He seems to have a very solid background and reputation in reporting over the past for many major news organizations, including all the major networks.
Wayne Madsen is a Washington, DC-based investigative journalist, author and syndicated columnist.
He has been a frequent political and national security commentator on Fox News and has also appeared on ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera, and MS-NBC. Madsen has taken on Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity on their television shows. He has been invited to testifty as a witness before the US House of Representatives, the UN Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, and an terrorism investigation panel of the French government. As a U.S. Naval Officer, he managed one of the first computer security programs for the U.S. Navy. He subsequently worked for the National Security Agency, the Naval Data Automation Command, Department of State, RCA Corporation, and Computer Sciences Corporation. Madsen is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), Association for Intelligence Officers ...

An awful lot of the dots seem to connect up. Once again, you be the judge as to any validity.

Yes, actually, I thought he’d already endorsed this. But if he wants to endorse it again... that’s alright with me. Endorse it every day, if he likes.

Question: "A June surprise: Is President Obama about to endorse gay marriage?"
Response: Yes. The Sodomites are valuable members of the coalition that is in the process of vanquishing the Euroamerican that ran this nation from its start to circa 1960. They will be rewarded.

Does Obama realize that the recent Gallup poll was that Americans "estimated" the gay population to be 25%, but that the true number is estimated to be only 1.5%-3.0%?
Why would Obama go for the 3% that he already has, and risk the middle that might be put off by this?

The black church going community should bitch slap him come november 2012. There are plenty of church going black Christians who denounced his stand on homosexuality and abortion only to be told that Barack did not hold those extremist and immoral views.

The callers I heard to black talk radio in 2008 had them saying they wouldn’t face eternal damnation for backing a candidate that they knew supported those positions. The host had to swear that it was all over blown.
When he signs through the executive orders and tells his Injustice Department to stand down on defending DOMA then his fingerprints are all over this CHANGE in American society.
