If he would just get back on their plantation, renounce conservatism and quit acting like a runaway, you cannot imagine what a darling of the MSM he would become.

I would like to see him in a debate with Obama, but of course,Obama qwould never agree to do a debate with anyone.

I never saw Reagan lose his cool. If he became angered he always put on that little smile and came up with a great rejoinder. You NEVER let them see you sweat!

I agree with Cain on one thing. I wouldn't have any moozlims in my cabinet either. Here is where we differ. He is trying to “clarify”. I would just explain that all the terrorists are Muslims. That Moslem's are trying to take over the world and I'm not going to help them. If that costs me the Muslim vote... oh well.

I never saw Reagan lose his cool

"I'm paying for this microphone!" (New Hampshire primary debate). Most people liked him more for it. Also, seems like Cain sure recovered quickly.

Thanks for clearing that up. I simply assumed that he meant it the way you said. Lying MSM!

He told a protester once in the middle of a speech to “shut up”...so, yes, he did lose his cool

Yes, he came up with a quip, he still did not lose his cool, God bless his sweet soul. I didn’t see Cain do this one, but I have seen him flip out before. Temper is not attractive in anyone, let alone a president. I’d rather see Cain play the media, then reel them when he is ready. Sarah does that quite well. Of course she has had years of practice behind her.

“It probably wasn’t politically correct to raise my voice,” he said a moment later, upon reflection. “But do you know what’s resonating with the American people? I’m going to be myself. I’m not going to be a punching bag.”

He’s saying what a lot of struggling, frustrated Americans are feeling.

...he may have had a chance.

I don't remember him giving up. And if you think people have given up on him, you're very wrong. His base is very committed.

Somewhere Sarah Palin is saying; “Dude. Welcome to my world.”

Good grief! Is there ANY thread left that won't invoke the name Palin?

With due respect, Reagan did lose his cool from time to time. Not a bad thing mind you, but it happened. It happened in NH debate in fact as one example.

Losing your cool every now and then is not a bad thing.

Crappy press reporting (which you can dissassemble and debunk) is a heck of a lot better than no press at all--at this stage.

The state controlled media and lib bloggers with respect to HERMAN CAIN FOR PRESIDENT clearly have moved at a very early stage quickly from their usual phase 1: outright ignoring, to their phase 2: ridiculing the Conservative Candidate and trying gotcha journalism with handycams, trick questions, imagery to match their narrative which is by nature destructive and aims to knock a candidate out of the race. Mr. Cain, this is the "heat in the kitchen!" This to me a) shows me they are desperate and concerned and fear his resonence, and b) they will raise his name IDs which is what of all things in the world this man needs right now.

"Write what you want, just spell my name right". --- is the phase of Mr. Cain's campaign (and they did this exact same thing in these exact same words to Reagan, (they did the same and would do the same to Sarah Palin), such as when the Gipper got angry and shouted in New Hampshire in 1980), so I say SCREW THEM, DAMN THE TORPEDOES and FULL SPEED AGAIN (against these "idiots").

Go Herman Cain. One of the good ones out there. Truly one of us, Freepers.

If one supports another candidate for President other than Herman Cain, it is very easy to say that, isnt it?

At this point I actually haven’t decided who I will support. I am looking at each of them very carefully. We MUST win, and we MUST have the man or woman who is BEST for the survival of our country.
