Bristol Palin tells "FOX & Friends" that her mother, former Gov. Sarah Palin, has made up her mind and "definitely" knows if she is going to run for President or not.

BRIAN KILMEADE, FOX & FRIENDS: "Do you get the sense that your mom has not made up her mind yet or do you think she knows and hasn't told told?"

If I were a liberal troll, seeking to wreak havoc at FR with regard to Sarah Palin, I would post EXACTLY as you do.

Posts like yours at #36 embarrass Sarah Palin, Christians and conservatives alike.

My point is (without fighting) that Romney internal polling shows he is dead in the water in Iowa, and not first as DEM Reg says.

No talk of Romney re thinking his strategy, because the DEM REG POLL is a lie, Romney knows it, I know it and so do most reasonable people.

You will not see Romney changing plans and putting a ton of money into IOWA because he knows the poll in question is in question/ Bogus

Only question remains is this...does MB know her numbers are also inflated?? I suspect she does not realize this? Is she that dumb?

How is that any different from anyone else who appears to be a R and is doing the same - trashing SARAH for their favorite candidate? Trolls come in all sizes - even as a servant.

Now go on - you have a battle to fight and stop trying to attach yourself to me. You must not have anyone who will listen to your blah, blah, blah.

The only issue I hear from people is that they don't like that she quit being Governor before her time was up. I don't know how to respond to that.

Her defenders like to say that she quit because of the lawsuits.

In her resignation speech, Palin (™) mentions the lawsuits but doesn't give that as the reason for her resignation.

From the resignation speech of Sarah Palin (™):

And so as I thought about this announcement that I wouldn’t run for re-election and what it means for Alaska, I thought about how much fun some governors have as lame ducks… travel around the state, to the Lower 48 (maybe), overseas on international trade – as so many politicians do. And then I thought – that’s what’s wrong – many just accept that lame duck status, hit the road, draw the paycheck, and “milk it”. I’m not putting Alaska through that – I promised efficiencies and effectiveness! ? That’s not how I am wired. I am not wired to operate under the same old “politics as usual.” I promised that four years ago – and I meant it.

You can read the full transcript here and watch the speech here: Part1 Part2

I don't know how you can claim lame duck status when you have 16 months left in your term.

A few months later with Bill O'Reilly, she again cited the "lame duck" status as her reason for quitting.

Because Alaska ethics law says that the Governor and/or their staff had to personally pay to defend themselves against the complaints and it would have bankrupt her/their family.

Do you honestly think that anyone would care one bit about Bristol's "memoir" or her coming reality TV show if mommy had announced last month that she has no intention of running? Palin is more Barnum than she is Reagan. That is not a bad thing.

Even by the standards of Palin Derangement Syndrome, that's quite a stretch! The idea that Palin, with what are now many millions of dollars, more than she needs to live in comfort for the rest of her life, would increase the risk of another Obama term for money - that claim could only come from a Kos/DU far-left liberal. Palin is clearly delaying for a tactical reason for her campaign and not to increase sales for her daughter's book. I suspect Palin will run, although I'm not 100% certain. I'm not even willing to consider that Palin is endangering our country for money, which I would expect from Obama or Romney, but not from a real American like Palin, Bachmann, DeMint, or Cain. I'm not buying what you're selling, and I doubt that many on FR are buying.

Palin(TM) not running would be 'endangering our country"?

Please detail exactly why our nation would be in peril if Palin(TM) chooses not to run.

Mahasamatman ("Great Souled Sam," lead character/hero of Lord of Light by Roger Zelazny, winner of the 1968 Hugo Award)--I posted the following in Feb. 2010:

Her followers called her Maha-Sarah-cuda, and said she was a Presidential candidate. She preferred to drop the Maha- and the -cuda, however, and called herself Sarah. She never claimed to be a Presidential candidate. But then, she never claimed not to be a Presidential candidate. Circumstances being what they were, neither admission could be of any benefit. Silence, though, could.

Therefore, there was mystery about her.

It was in the season of budget deficits . . .

it was well into the time of the great spending . . .

—Apologies to Roger Zelazny’s memory . . .

My little parody stands up pretty well, If I do say so myself. Of course, you have to have read the book to get the parody/joke/inference (which, if you like science fiction at all, you should. It's a GREAT book.)

I just wish for your list to be as complete as possible . . .

And.....like the Clintons, they could have set up a private legal fund to fight the courts. They seem to have gobs of organizational skills, which would have offset their personal funding issues.

Therefore, sounds like a lame excuse, since they did not even begin to try such an effort. Instead, they packed up and ran, like the McCoys. For greener pastures, swimmin’ pools, Limousines, Million Dollar book deals, FOX news, Reality TV at a Million per show.

And the cash just keeps on pilin’ up like hay stacks in August!

The verse is not meant to refer to God’s support for any given politician.

It was grossly ripped out of context, and I don’t believe that God approves when His Scripture is treated as carelessly as coupons clipped from the Sunday paper.

There are other Scriptures that reference God’s will concerning kings, etc that would have been more appropriate. They were not used.

Like I said - she put Alaska ahead of herself. Probably a difficult concept for some to grasp.

“But what Paul states here is a general axiom that would be true in any number of contexts that go well beyond personal redemption, as has been demonstrated many times over elsewhere in Scripture. As just one of myriad examples, the temporal authorities attempted to keep Peter in prison. God wanted him out, so he got out. God always gets his way.”

Nowhere in Scripture is Romans 8:31 used “as a general axiom that would be true in any number of contexts”. You are using it in that sense, not Scripture. Paul and the other writers were quite capable of quoting Scripture when they wished to use a verse, verses, or a passage of Scripture to make a point.

Palin running would be the best thing that could happen to our country - conservatives could unite behind the most qualified and most thoroughly vetted candidate alive.

Palin not running and announcing that she would not run would be an adequate option; the elimination of uncertainty would allow conservatives to unite behind the best remaining candidate to beat both Romney and Obama.

For Palin to intentionally maintain that uncertainty, when she has (hypothetically) already decided not to run would be to weaken the opposition to Romney and to Obama, making it more likely that America will be destroyed as a free country or will require a second civil war to regain our freedom. I have listened to most of Palin's speeches and read a significant fraction of her writings, and such an action is incompatible with what I have seen from her. No, given the massive evil currently occupying our White House and the importance of replacing the Obama Regime with a lawful government that respects our Constitution, I don't believe that Palin would permit uncertainty over her election plans if she had decided not to run, certainly not for money which she now has in abundance.

To remove Barry, possibly, but SARAH is the only one to get our country turned around - that's a given.

I am not sure that is a "given."

My goodness the nomination is 15 months away. I think we have plenty of time to get something going. Sarah is not going to run, so we really need to start looking past her coronation.

Sarah Palin has (apparently) decided whether to run, and I have decided whether to vote for her. If she runs, she has my vote. If Sarah does not run and Romney gets the nomination, I will write in Sarah Palin. If Sarah does not run and Bachmann, DeMint, or Cain gets the nomination, then I will vote for the GOP nominee.
