The only issue I hear from people is that they don't like that she quit being Governor before her time was up. I don't know how to respond to that.

July 27th is meaningless. The pertinant AK law (39.52.310h) states....
"A violation of this chapter may be investigated within two years after discovery of the alleged violation."
Key words..."discovery" and "alleged".
The statute of limitations clocks starts ticking the day of the discovery of the alleged violation and runs for two years from that daye.
IOW...if all those eyes reading through all those 24,000 pages of e-mails "discovered" any indication of an "alleged" violation then a complaint can be filed at any time in the next two years.
Each accepted violation must be answered in writing within 20 days or a written application for an extension must be submitted.
Any complaint will create a media frenzy that will re-open the discussion of the old complaints -- the ones that folks say caused her to quit.
If multiple "alleged" violations were to be "discovered" then a palin campaign would be de-railed by multiple filings.
She has to, or risk losing her cache to Bachmann.

Why do you tell them that Gov. Palin resigned because the democrats kept filling law suits against her and it was costing Alaska millions of dollars. Good grief, she explained it and explained it very well.
“We’ve talked about it before” sounds like there has been no change to an established decision, which I think would be more likely a “not running” decision. Not saying so is better for the PAC. (I do hope she runs.)
That’s THE question that will keep coming up, again and again if she decides to run. (Among other issues and things.)
For someone who is not running she sure has the chess pieces on the board. It is clear Palin is executing a plan and the press can’t help themselves. The beauty of what Palin is doing is that she isn’t submitting herself to the media king makers she is making them jump to her tune which is what the McCain campaign should’ve done in 2008. Palin knows the media isn’t her friend and will never be her friend so she has learned to use her enemies strategically againt themselves. Personally I’m hungry for this fight. I’m so tired of the left in this country and the snobbish political class acting as though they are the king makers.
