Our troops in nearly every single war didn’t have the luxury of changing their underwear twice a week.

Inmates at least have running water in their cells they can use to wash their socks/underwear.

If they can figure out how to make deadly weapons out of plastic coffee cup lids (Heat it over a flaming roll of toilet paper, roll it into a pencil shape, cool it by dipping it in the toilet, then sharpen the hard plastic on the cement floor) then they can figure out how to wash their underwear/socks in the sink and let them hang overnight to dry.

Do these people have access to a sink with running water and soap? Can they not wash one pair and hang it up to dry while they wear the other pair? Are they not civilized, intelligent and capable men? Do they not have a can-do attitude?

Oh wait... nevermind.

Some of my kids have to be reminded to change their undies when I notice none are turning up in the laundry ... but we haven’t had a cholera epidemic or anything.

OMG! Why didn’t I know THAT when I had three teen boys and two men (a husband and a BIL) living under my roof?

*I* did all the freakin’ LAUNDRY!

Too little, too late...no use crying over dirty underwear now is there? LOL!

I’m sure those evil imperialist capitalist pigs in the picture you posted on that vacation could have taken the money they stole in an unjust war for oil and went to the laundry-mat at the 5 star rich man’s campsite they were at with their ill-gotten gains and washed their clothes anytime they felt like. The poor prisoners denied their freedom so unfairly do not happen to have that option...

Sarcasm...do I really need to say it? ;)

It’s not that difficult to wash your underwear.

When I read about the shocking acts of deplorable conditions that these poor human beings are suffering through, my heart went out with a profound sadness....

...and then I realized even my elevated sarcasm levels couldn't withstand the kind of B.S. I was putting it through.

@#$% these crybaby criminals...let em rot in their own filth until they die of old age...it's a helluva lot better treatment that they give their victims, so @#$% them and the horse they rode in on...

Thanks for posting the photos Sarge.

I’d like to rub the face of three-quarters of this nation in them.

That or, alterntively, in the dirty prisoner undershorts.

Again, a salute to you.

A clothing shortage is forcing inmates in at least one Illinois prison to wear the same underwear several days in a row, causing a health and hygiene concern, a watchdog group said.

Not only THAT but couldn't it make the poor sots a bit uncomfortable in some cases, couldn't it?

THAT would be intolerable IMO! /ms

We must show that our government facilities are the most respectful yet compassionate that public officials have to offer after all.
