I once broadsided a deer at ~50mph
As best I can tell, it materialized out of thin air

Ok. We’ll include the wildife, but I still think if your obeying common sense, few real accidents should happen.

Deer leap up out of the way and come down through your windshield. Happened one night to a fellow I know and his family on their way back home in 30 below zero weather in wintertime Illinois.

They weren't hurt. The deer died instantly. The cops took away the body (for who knows what purpose) but it could have been death all around in that weather.
