I’ve tried to put my finger on it also. Someone mentioned they didn’t even bother to look at the evidence. But when you have an alternate say, Well George was hiding SOMETHING.

Maybe he had something to do with it too. Hello, isn’t that conceeding Casey killed her? May be one of the most DISHONEST JURIES since OJ. They can use common sense NOT SPECULATION. Sounds like they sat in the Jury room and gossiped for 10 hourd minus meals, “special” breaks etc.

Hello Boatbums.....tis a sad occassion, with this verdict, for many. But I do believe, as you, God will have his own way now of dealing with this family.

Our laws and courts are just like all the regulations choking business and industry in our country...it isn’t hardly possible to be productive and accomplish what could be if it weren’t so.

God gave these attorneys, the court, and the jurors the work of making a rightful judgements in this case. It doesn’t look as though that was done. Too many with corruptd hearts and minds crossed thru that courtroom. And all who failed to tell the truth will be held accountable to God..... They “swore” to ‘Him’ to tell the truth....

When I referred to these jurors; I meant these particular jurors were not quite with the program.

I don’t know what went on in the jury room; but someone or something was definitely guiding them. They did nothing before or after going into deliberations as I understand it. Just my opinion and I could be headed down the wrong street easily. Their lack of anything disturbs me.

I am also not saying anyone is dishonest or anything like that. They just didn’t seem to grasp much or didn’t want too..

“(I don’t know anything about how that works”

A good time to keep the piehole zipped, no? (yes I am in a foul, post- verdict mood).

A judgment, in CA, is renewable every ten years. Some states only allow a set number of renewals. I have collected on criminals even after they have been in prison for 7 years.

Most dis-gusting verdict since Simpson. This was plain and simple and Bozo jury. Actually Quix, the Prosecution did a fabulous job. The defence was nothing short of vulgar, dispicable, unbelieveable and a pure disgrace. NObody but NObody who was not a stealth juror would have voted this way. I can’t help but say that I hope a vigilante takes care of this. If the justice system continues to be a hollywood show, then God help the United States. There is something to be said for conservative Canadian Courts. This could not happen. The media does NOT have the right to make talk show after talk show after talk show out of every trial including a “former?” member of the defence team to be on TV yakking their faces off every day. I trust NONE of it. I hated the way this Judge pushed anybody but anybody through to fill the 12 seats. EVERY single one was wrong. I have not turned on a single channel with this crap on it since and I will not. I have watched nothing but cooking and Glenn Beck taped shows. I want to vomit besides cry. NO justice for this little girl that is for sure. I hope they are all proud. Don’t say the Prosecution was shoddy, it was the most professional and most outstanding thing in the whole trial. Problem is, you had a collection of bozos who were not going to listen to the evidence and did not ever deliberate it, EVER. It was done the day they got this judge and jury. I prayed but today I seemed to hear a little voice from God say, the country and the people (as a whole) are evil now. NOT HIS people but the general public. Wrong is right and right is wrong. I’ll never but never, get involved again in another high profile trial. You can trust NOTHING and NOBODY. CO

It sucks that Son of Sam laws do not apply in this case. I do believe there should be a law that jurors cannot benefit financially from their service.

DREADFUL.

Thanks for your insights.

May God have mercy on all who seek Him and cry out for His Mercy and His Justice.

Thankfully, His mercy triumphs over His Justice.

However, His justice is headed full bore for the evil doers and they have no idea how heavy a hand HE HAS.

OK, your response just confirms to me that the jury was really, really, stupid.

Does it REALLY matter whether or not there were 84 searches or 1 for chloroform? NOT A BIT.

If this jury let a murderer walk just to punish the prosecution for inconveniencing then they are among the most selfish people on earth. I think they’re just DUMB.

What are the odds against the following CHAIN OF EVENTS occurring:
Someone with a motive to murder their child, discovered that their child had accidentally died, then was stupid enough to risk murder charges by covering it up, taped the skull with duct tape (despite having no reason to do so), searched for “chloroform” EVEN ONCE (probably only done by a handful of people every day, most of them involved in science or education), and also coincidentally had traces of chloroform in their trunk, plus a hair matching that of the deceased victim?

Here’s all the evidence the prosecutor should have needed to persuade a reasonable person beyond a reasonable doubt:
Caylee is dead.
Casey had motive.
Casey covered up the death.
(These three are indisputable.)

No one else had both opportunity and motive to kill Caylee.
There was duct tape found on the skull.
Someone searched on “chloroform”.
Traces of chloroform were found in the trunk.
A hair matching the remains was found in the trunk.

Each one of these last five pieces of evidence can be called into question. The MOST LIKELY explanation for each is that Casey killed Caylee, but it’s possible to come up with bizarre alternative explanations for each, as the defense did. However five highly unlikely occurrences become an impossibility as a chain. Prosecution should have made that case. But jurors should have been able to figure that out without help. You can get lucky and win a statewide lotto... you can’t get lucky and win it 5 times in a row.

“I agree, except now that he’s running for President, Newt’s less interesting to listen to.”

Yeah, a little less I guess. He’s still a great thinker, with good insights into how Washington works, and great ideas to solve real problems. I actually thought his answers in the second debate were better than any other candidate, even Bachmann. But it’s too late, he’s already disqualified himself by angering conservatives, his most closely aligned supporters, ideologically speaking.

He’ll be better once he’s out of the race, provided he even continues as a talking head. Once he gives up on ever being president, he might not seek face time at all anymore.

Those morons! They believed her to be guilty and the only reasonable doubt was that they didn’t know HOW she died? What does it matter HOW she died when deciding guilt or innocence???? As to the charge I can see hpw that matters, but that would require DELIBERATION. Something THIS jury did not want to take the timeto do, or were too stupid to know how!

Well said. I find the number of freepers that can’t follow this logic disturbing. With circumstantial evidence, one must consider ‘circumstances’. These sets of circumstances determine the probability or improbability of an event or ‘chain’ of events. In other words, the circumstances ARE the proof. This silly notion that the state did not ‘prove’ it’s case is merely the jury choosing to accept the highly improbable over the highly probable. If someone shows me an object that appears to be an apple, I would find it very probable that it is indeed an apple. While I may not be able to bite into it for absolute ‘proof’, I would find it highly improbable that is, in fact, an orange.

Good analogy that should be presented to every jury.
