He claimed he was an American citizen right up until he was convicted.

What I find interesting is that he never attempted to see the Mexican consulate until he was already on death row. If I were arrested in a foreign country, the *first* words out of my mouth would be, "I want to speak to someone from the US Embassy." In fact, it would be damn near the *only* words out of my mouth.

"There are some agreements between countries ,but that is it. A sovereign country has it’s own laws and the UN can go get fudged."

Did you know that as many as 600 American Cities and Counties are dues paying members to the U.N. that is developing policy for the management of our water, parks and private lands?

Maybe you live in one!

Here are some comments that shed some light on their program.

I suppose somebody, somewhere cares about what this leader of a morally bankrupt council within a morally bankrupt organization has to say about anything — much less about what constitutes “human rights”.

I repeat. Get the US Out of the UN, and the UN out of the US.

the UN voted to impose financial sanctions on Qadaffi and to refer him to the World Court for investigation of civilian abuses

I am not aware that the UN sanctioned military operations to remove or assassinate him and his family

Can you refer me to a link?

*************************************

Sort of a relay race, but the UN referred it to the ICC who issued the warrants, and this same nebulous web of the “international community” looks to NATO to effect the arrest - or other elimination of the target, and then NATO refers the aftermath back to the UN. Whether one holds the cloaks while another gathers rocks and the third one throws, they are all coordinated on the stoning. Kaddafi is nasty, but this jackal pack of faceless globalists is even worse. Far, far worse.

UN referral to ICC:

ICC issues warrants - means of arrest default to NATO:

NATO prospectively returns the baton to the UN:
http://www.acus.org/natosource/nato-chief-post-gaddafi-libya-we-want-united-nations-take-lead

Chief of NATO embraces mission of UN resolutions 1970 and 1973:
http://www.acus.org/natosource/nato-made-right-call-helping-libya

UN resolution 1973 ‘authorises all necessary means to protect civilians and civilian-populated areas, except for a “foreign occupation force”’. Without occupation there is one very obvious solution, which is encompassed in the language “ALL necessary means”. This is effectively an institutional license to kill.

You’d be surprised how many American politicians disagree with you on that point — that’s why we have so many proponents of this ‘One World’ government bull sh*t.

Those who mention these words again should be charged with treason.

UN official: US execution of Leal broke int'l law

Texas jury: Leal's murder of Sauceda broke Texas law.

I'll take the opinion of twelve Texans over an U.N. official any day of the week.

Then again, it may be that I had three generations of ancestors living in Texas in March 1836, and no ancestors living in Wimpville at the time.
