Will any reporter have the nerve to ask Obama why he is always late compared to President Bush who was always on time?

Yes but the republicans sit and play dead. I really don’t think that they want to win in the end. They already know that they want to cave.

Bingo! Atavistic, a word I learned along the way seems to apply: Reverting back to type either genetically or behaviorally.

Obama, schooled in Alinsky's how to be a successful Marxist and hating America during his adult life has now for a few years needed to role-play something else, but under pressure, he 'goes atavistic'. Examples are many. Virtually every speech keys denigrating America in front of foreign, largely nonwhite crowds, sharing the wealth with Joe the plumber, etc. This is what he is deep in his bones and he often slips us a not so oblique reminder.

At least the Rev. Jackson, a race pimp without peer, publicly asks for a level playing field, not level outcomes.

The opposition gets a chance to respond to the State of the Union, but pressers are considered in the realm of POTUS's everyday responsibilities. Been that way since JFK began to televise his.The nets and cable nets decide when to cover them. They covered very few of Bush's because they could cherry pick reponses to playup on the evening news to make him look bad.

After the haloed one's remark about professional politicians knowing all, the networks may be sorry they covered this one, as that comment is now all over the web and will be used in GOP ads starting now.

I still hate Clinton, and he participated in the same massive lies and attacks (remember his attacks on Limbaugh as responsible for OKC bombing), but Clinton was a ‘roll-your-sleeves-up’ type of guy. He was up late and weekends working with his team, and actually knew what was going on. This guy is a lazy joke who thinks he can still fire up the telepromompter and win over the majority of people.

Clinton was terrible on a variety of issues, but he did place the right kind of people in economic positions and listened to them...in particular, he kept a strong dollar.
He did go far left out of the gates, but once he got swatted down, he wisely veered to the middle and enacted several right-leaning tax cut bills and welfare reform passed by the GOP congress to get reelected and help set the stage for strong economic growth. that said, he’s a scoundrel and a liar, and an impeached, disbarred embarrassment in terms of character.

Why would I want a wealthy liberal to gift $$ to the US government, when that money can be spent, invested, inherited in the private economy?

Every dollar given to government is lost to the free market, or at the very least most of it is lost rather than buying anything productive.

Why would I not want oil compaies or any companies to have big profits?

And I hope they can afford some great private jets while they’re at it.

Haha, does that ever bring back memories. I bet you could make some money designing and selling that one. I don't have it, so here's a picture of Jimmah in his sweater yucking it up with ol' Plugs.

Says he wants to raise taxes in 2013, not this year or next.

Ah, so he's taking the coward's approach. I seem to recall something about Obamacare being revenue-neutral, where they raise taxes for ten years in order to pay for six years of Obamacare. So where is that first four years of tax money going? These people have raised 'lying' to a new level. These people lie even when telling the truth would sound better.

Exactly. We have to “eat our peas”?

Peas with lobster and wagyu is so gauche. Can we eat arugula instead?

Your work is exceptional. Well done. Do I have your permission to post it on another bulletin board? And if so, how would you like to be credited?

As I indicated earlier, this came from a WSJ article. Here is the link:

Taxes Upon Taxes Upon . . . Obama wants $1 trillion in taxes on top of what he's already signed.
