The media are at it once again with a real vendetta towing a hypocritical line.
Enter CNN and HLN. Wolf Blitzer. Anderson Cooper. Dr. Phil and Dr. Drew, just to name a few.
What has these networks and individuals along with homosexual extremists and liberals so fuming mad?
Michele and Marcus Bachmann.
If you haven't noticed lately, Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann is one of the fastest rising superstars in today's political arena a Republican frontrunner in the race for the 2012 office of the president of the United States.
Bachmann is Christian and conservative. She has a rapidly rising base of like-minded supporters all across the nation. However, Christian and conservative are two adjectives liberals and many within the mainstream media absolutely abhor.
This female fireball and evangelical powerhouse who very well can be our next president has been deemed a political threat and one who must be taken down in the media now.
This eerily reminds me of another female political figure, from Alaska. You betcha.
This week, CNN released a video by a homosexual extremist group that went undercover with a hidden video camera at the Bachmanns' place of business a humble Christian counseling center in Minnesota called Bachmann and Associates.
They said what was uncovered at the Bachmann clinic will absolutely shock us. It's unbelievable. It's unfathomable.
It was "uncovered" and "discovered" by the hidden camera of a gay activist posing as someone wanting help to change from gay to straight that the Bachmanns' Christian counseling center actually had the "audacity of hope" to believe that their Christian counselors could in fact, through prayer, the Bible and clinical means, help men and women who struggled with unwanted same-sex attraction to possibly change their sexual preference.

Back when America still had some moral fiber, the fact that a candidate’s spouse helped gays go straight with Jesus’ help would have been viewed as a PLUS, not a minus.
So sad how far we have fallen.
In other news, the jobless community recently infiltrated a Pennsylvania State Employment Office, posing as someone wishing to get off free money and start “earning” it.
Shockingly, the employment office actually offered to “assist” the infiltrator in finding “a job”.
It’s sickening that many here have attacked Bachmann and her husband for, literally, doing God’s work.
RE: Its sickening that many here have attacked Bachmann and her husband for, literally, doing Gods work.
________________________________________________________________________________
We have to understand that this is literally a clash of WORLDVIEWS.
Unrepentant gays believe that there is no need to do God’s Work on their behalf because GOD MADE THEM THAT WAY. There is NOTHING TO REPENT.
Hence, trying to change them is akin to changing what God Himself made.
Of course, what people don’t see is that the Bachmann’s aren’t forcing their worldview on people. They are trying to help those gays who struggle with their identity and do not subscribe to the the worldview of the unrepentant gay.
It's leftists and secular humanist argument that has been advanced by Communists in this nation going back to at least 1963.
Anyone claiming God made the way they are isn't speaking for God.
>> Of course, what people dont see is that the Bachmanns arent forcing their worldview on people.
Doesn’t matter as these same complaining people have no problem forcing their worldview on others, and now with the support provided by state homosexual marriage laws.
A very moving piece. I want to quote its ending:
“I want to thank you, Michele and Marcus Bachmann, for your unwavering Christian faith and stand. Thank you for offering true hope and help to those men and women struggling with unwanted homosexuality. You are not trying to force people to change who don’t want it only offering it to those who are truly seeking it.
“Because of people like you, I am a completely changed man in more ways than one.”
“Because of people like you, I have a loving wife and two beautiful children a family something I always dreamed of, but believed was completely impossible.”
“Michele and Marcus Bachmann, because people just like you cared enough to share the Gospel and God’s uncompromising, yet loving truth about homosexuality with me, my life and eternal destiny have completely changed.”
“I thank you. My wife thanks you. Our children thank you.”
We may not have fallen as far as you think. Remember. The MSM is now an endless lie. Eventually they will hit the wall.
To even suggest that the gay life style may be a choice (at least for some) is to be accused of “hate speech.” And even if if it’s not a choice that doesn’t make it natural.
Back when America still had some moral fiber, we didn’t understand much about mental illness. Now we do. And when people want to treat mental illness with prayer instead of medicine, today we think those people are silly.
>> We may not have fallen as far as you think
I hope and pray you’re right, FRiend. I certainly would *like* to believe that.
The program was entirely voluntary wasn’t it? Apparently there are a lot of homos who want to be cured.
It’s been very clear for five thousand years how the LORD views homosexuality.
Anyway, prayer is never silly; it’s a useful adjunct to all sorts of mortal self-help actions, including the practice of medicine.
What about people who think that gays are crazy, and that medicine can cure them, like medicine cures other mental illnesses?
What worldview do those people have?
There's few things that irritate me more than the militant attacks by gays who see anything other than their own view as a mortal threat needing to be destroyed. Some people try out their "community" and find it wanting and look for something else to fulfill their needs. Those people should be respected.
Science points to probable biological causes for a homosexual orientation but, frankly, there are also biological causes for alcoholism. It's not the end-all, be-all. You can control drinking behavior, just as you can control sexual behavior heterosexual or homosexual, with help and discipline, if it's what you choose to do in your life.
Insecure, militant gays just can't get through their skulls that what you, or I or any one else decides to do in conducting our own personal lives is not a "judgment" on them.
For the out-loud activist community, you're either an atheistic, openly whoring homosexual like they are or a delusional homophobic monster and self-loathing victim of oppression. It's all in the name of tolerance, of course.
Those against the behavior make the mistake of demonizing the person often by assuming if a person admits struggling with a same-sex attraction he must also be engaged in specific acts or be willfully rejecting a natural heterosexual attraction.
The practical problem is there are those don't want to give up all the other things things they are to join the "gay community" just as they're afraid of ostracism from family or faith community because they've come through adolescence burdened with an abnormal orientation.
Most people don't want to live their lives as loners so the risks and stress is great. They know parents are not going to volunteer their daughter to marry an ex-gay man to father their grandkids and it's unlikely any daughter would take the risk. No matter how true and faithful the man, suspicion would always exist as the background to the marriage.
It's the kind of dilemma that sends many gays to suicide. Do I join a "gay community" that makes me give up my faith, family and fundamental beliefs for "companionship" that doesn't enrich my life, demeans myself and risks my health? Do I try to cope alone and "pretend" I don't have a problem? Do I live a lonely, celibate life of solitude as suggested by some faiths?
Faith communities need to do far better at reaching out to homosexual members and offering alternatives to the "gay community's" nihilism.
And what would anyone expect going into one of their clinic and asking to be rehabilitated? It isn’t like someone walked into their office and asked them how to import illegal aliens so they can start up a brothel in a rent free apartment.
1. She's not Sarah Palin
2. She's a GOP candidate for president, and that is reserved for only one woman - Sarah Palin.
