I was to have been on QVC today to introduce my book, “Prime Time,” about aging and the life cycle. The network said they got a lot of calls yesterday criticizing me for my opposition to the Vietnam War and threatening to boycott the show if I was allowed to appear.
I am, to say the least, deeply disappointed that QVC caved to this kind of insane pressure by some well funded and organized political extremist groups. And that they did it without talking to me first. I have never shied away from talking about this as I have nothing to hide.
I could have pointed out that threats of boycotts are nothing new for me and have never prevented me from having best selling books and exercise DVDs, films, and a Broadway play. Most people don’t buy into the far right lies. Many people have reached out to express how excited they were about my going onto QVC and hearing about my book.
Bottom line, this has gone on far too long, this spreading of lies about me! None of it is true. NONE OF IT! I love my country. I have never done anything to hurt my country or the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for us. I do not understand what the far right stands to gain by continuing with these myths.
In this case, they denied a lot of people the chance to hear about a book that can help make life better, easier and more fulfilling. I am deeply grateful for all of the support I have been getting since this happened, including from my Vietnam Veterans friends.

Sorry, Jane, but you very lucky that you weren't tried for treason and hanged. Don't expect tears from us when you aren't made to feel welcome on QVC or anywhere else.

Well I have a few points to make to Ms. Fonda.
1. North Viet Nam’s leadership has repeatedly admitted that they could not beat us on the battlefield but that useful idiots such as Fonda and John Kerry and George McGovern would turn the country against the war, and worse, against the U.S. military.
2. As far I see it, lady, you have the blood of a several U.S. marines I served with all over your hands. They were KIA’d while you were doing your thing.
3. I find it disgusting that you are peddling a book about aging and the life cycle. None of those marines, my friends, got to age gracefully because you contributed to cutting their life cycles so very, very short. They were your countryman you misguided twit. They were someone’s son, brother, cousin, uncle, you name it.
4. Has it ever crossed your mind, Ms Fonda, that perhaps there is an after life and maybe some of my guys and many, many others are patiently waiting for you? Don’t forget the countless hundreds of thousands Southeast Asians were exterminated after everything collapsed as a result of your contributed handi-work.

About 15 years ago, my wife and I were in Whiskey Jacks bar at the Big Sky Ski Resort when in walks that bitch. It took every bit of my strength and my wifes cajoling for me not to go over and kick the bar stool out from her sorry ass. To this day I regret not doing that. Opportunities lost!!! OIF vet. grrrrr

Exactly right! My husband has the Bronze Star from Vietnam and attended Berkeley on the GI Bill, the scummy hippies tried to bar students from going to class so he simply took his bookbag and knocked them aside. I’ll never forget those years there and how proud I was of Governor Reagan when he motorcaded past the campus. Fonda is a sexual deviant, a liar and a traitor. She makes me sick, just to look at those smarmy eyes and the craters on her face. Shut up guttersnipe, go where you are wanted (wherever that is). America has NO use for you, now or ever!

QVC knows exactly who their customers are, they ship things to middle America day after day after day.
