Saw it at midnight, all 16 theaters were sold out, even for 130 AM showings. Sadly, I was disappointed by the movie. It was just ok, didn’t make the key scenes memorable.
All of the adult fans in our home were all disappointed. They did not like the deviation from the books.
We had 28 theaters sold out for 12:01 and 3am.
Tickets were sold out through the weekend. We had tickets for 4pm Friday to join our friends who couldn’t come with us to the Midnight showing. The party was starting all over again Friday night.
We just resolved that there is a “movieverse” and a “novelverse” so we enjoyed the flick.
