You don’t think that if you ran for any office that you would use your pictures with Reagan?

I would put them in Direct Mail, put them on TV, etc.

Ron Paul even got an endorsement from Reagan.

If you got one of those, you’d use it.

No, I wouldn't use it and I'm NOT running for any elected office! LOL

You really should just go find some Ron Paul site/forum, because you are out of place here and a bandwidth waster.

You don't understand politics at all, on any level!

So please don't reply to this post, because I do want to remain civil, but utter exasperation doesn't help me do that.

Of course you would. You're a Paul Cultist. Swarming and spamming is what Paultards do. Paultards are the most annoying pests in the political arena, bar none.

Ron Paul is unpopular on his own, but I'm sure his spammy, worshipful, delusional, obnoxious supporters lose him even more points.

Seriously, all you guys are really good for is comic relief. Just like the LaRouche people before you.

I am not sure Perry could even win the Texas primary against Sarah. She will get this Texan’s vote.

What are you talking about?

I was just saying that if you had a picture of you and Reagan and you were running for State Rep you would put that picture on your direct mail piece. And you do know that almost all candidates do direct mailing? It’s not some rare occurrence.

It a way for you to say “I was conservative back then” if nothing else.

I remember now, you are very sincere, and smart, it will be interesting to see how this last season for Paul unfolds.

My biggest concern with Perry is the whole Gardasil nonsense.

They both are prolife they both defend traditional marriage.

I believe that it’s the duty and the responsibility of men to lead their country and lead well. Perry’s not my choice out of the available candidates (that would be Cain), but unless Perry comes out as pro abortion or supporting Obamacare and that nonsense, I would take him over Palin.

Does PDS make you smell funky?

I've often wondered whether PDS is simply irritating, or if it actually hurts.

The GARDESIL thing is a HUGE problem; damned nanny state, invasive crapola.

Oh, so only MEN should be president? I guess that you believe that Maggie Thatcher wasn't up to the MP job either, you benighted misogynist you!

Cain? Oh dear...................... He's a good man, but has no place trying to run for president! It used to be, that someone with absolutely NO elected office background, nor high ranking general would be laughed off that stage and so it should remain.

Gardasil!

(Sorry...I saw it done earlier today and had to steal it. H/T to Servant of the Cross.)

Personally, I'm more Palin or Cain-oriented, but would vote for Perry if he got the nomination.

How about a Perry/Palin ticket?

Perry has 10 years executive experience and seems in line with most Tea Party positions.

Palin could rally support and gain 8 years of experience as VP setting her up to run in 2020 for president.

Maybe we could get 16 years of conservatism in the White House.

I forgot that truthfreedom isn’t a troll, he isn’t posting stuff to tweak us, or push our buttons.

Now I remember that when you are talking to truthfreedom, you really are, he is speaking from the heart, he isn’t playing games and being what I think of as “passive/aggressive”, or “trying to slip under the radar”, etc., truthfreedom isn’t one of those guys.

Palin is more of an executive and leader than Perry.

Here’s the thing. The GOP candidate will get trashed no matter what. Palin just got hers over with early.

And, high negatives to overcome that the other candidates don't.

You've got a point and I don't believe I've ever called truthfreedom a troll. He doesn't really act troll-ish, just spammy.

I keep hoping he'll see the light regarding Ron Paul. We could use some of truthfreedom's energy and spirit for a true conservative's campaign, like Palin's. (If she decides to run.)

I understand; he’s a TRUE BELIEVER, who refuses to believe anything at all except his own delusions. That’s what makes his post even more problematic, IMHO.

And, high negatives to overcome that the other candidates don't.

The Only Republican candidate who can expect to be in the running for the nomination who will not get high negatives from the MSM drones is Romney. So, based on your analysis (i.e., that high negatives will mean we can't choose that candidate) then Romney is your guy.
