Oslo Police having a press conference now.
Saying at least 80 kids have been massacred.
To people not knowlegable of firearms any rapid fire is probably going to make them think automatic.
A semi-auto handgun can be fired very rapidly so it doesnt have to be a full auto.
Which just shows how statistics can be used to prove anything.
But common sense, and nothing more, says otherwise in this case.
Hounds of War?. ‘Hounds of hell’ is a reference to extreme righteous anger and a heightened sense of injustice. The point is..this will certainly not weaken anyone’s resolve as previously stated.

Someone of real Norwegian stock, as opposed to an ethnic Middle Easterner whose family had emigrated to Norway. For instance, if this act had been perpetrated by an Arab Muzzie who happened to be a citizen of Norway, it would have done, technically, by a "Norwegian," but not by an *ethnic* Norwegian (the kind you would normally think of as a Norwegian).
You're assuming there's anybody to BE alert. We don't even know if anyone on the island knew about the Oslo bombing.
I just don't get the astonishment that the island didn't have security. Lets say a bomb goes off in downtown DC; 90 minutes later, is some summer camp for kids in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia going to be on some sort of security alert with armed guards at all the entrances?
One video news clip I saw showed a van he'd brought onto the island. The ferry operators are said to have bought his story that he'd come to check on the island because of the blast in Oslo.
Agree with you on that... however... they are obviously suspect since there was warnings prior to this happening in Oslo., that a Muslim terroist attack could occur and reported earlier on some Islamic Terroists sites, reported as so.
I understand some in the community have been irritated with the lack of security for these types of happenings. Though we'll likely hear a great deal of reporting that may just be dis-information as well.
Mesta Machine is generally onto these things and likely in the know as things are investigated. I'm awaiting to hear her take on the situation.

Common sense is routinely wrong. That's why science exists. "Common sense" says something 10 times heavier than another object falls 10 times faster. It doesn't.

I dread reading having to read the explanations of experts of all kinds, all of which (the explanations) will try to avoid stating the obvious, whatever it is (I dunno.)

I am posting that, because the posts I am reading from him are utterly normal.
He even seems like a bit of wuss to me. I am more aggressively right wing than him. He thinks the English Defense League are a bunch of thugs.
I post the “he would have fitted in here”, because there was not a single thing from his post. NOT ONE THING that hinted towards what the creep was going to do. He seemed like a run of the mill conservative concerned about Islamic immigration and such things. He wanted to help start a printed alternative to the msn. A Norwegian Washington Times. That seemed to be his project. Not slaughter.
