That’s gotta be the biggest mass shooting I’ve ever heard of (in terms of number of victims in one incident).

Looks like it very well may be:

Oh my G-d let that not be true. 80 children. This is hard to fathom. How did this happen? How could the rest not escape? Oh, my precious G-d.

Phase II of Operation Gunrunner/Gunwalker has begun.

The push for global gun control begins now.

The scene was a small porkchop-shaped island of a few dozen acres in size surrounded by deep water, full of innocent kids, and had zero security. Only way in was by boat. The bombing attack in Oslo was one hell of a law enforcement diversion.

Hideously well-planned terror attack.

This sounds like a terrorist act to me. It looks, sounds, and feels like a duck if you know what I mean.

Current record is 57 in South Korea in 1982 - at least when it comes to single gunmen. If more than one person was involved, it’s a different story.

80? If true, that is incredible and horrific.

I wonder what this does to Norway’s gun laws. They had been fairly permissive. Eighty people is traumatic enough that I could imagine it shifting public thinking on the matter.

I can buy muslims or whacko’s doing something like this, but a right wing extremist? Perp has to have something wrong upstairs. This ain’t a straight political/idealogical massacre.
