The Norwegian police on Saturday charged a 32-year-old man, whom they identified as a Christian fundamentalist with right-wing connections, over the bombing of a government center here and a shooting attack on a nearby island that together left at least 91 people dead. Multimedia

A spokeswoman for Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg said he was safe. He is being questioned under the country’s terrorism laws and is cooperating with the investigation, they said.

“We are not sure whether he was alone or had help,” a police official, Roger Andresen, said at a televised press conference, adding: “What we know is that he is right-wing and a Christian fundamentalist.” So far Mr. Breivik has not been linked to any anti-jihadist groups, he said.

I think we need to keep in mind that Facebook pages depicting attractive 14 year old girls are set up by Federal Agents thirty or forty years old to catch child molesters with amazing regularity.

Agreed. But the question I was addressing was why they said Christian and right-wing, not whether it is true.

You write: It’s very hard to defend against an island kid camp and a bomb attack.

You don’t have a clue why he attacked this camp do you? First of, it wasn’t a bunch of kids learning about mother nature:

Utøya is owned by the political youth party Workers’ Youth League (Arbeidernes ungdomsfylking), which holds a summer camp there. The Workers’ Youth League (Bokmål: Arbeidernes Ungdomsfylking, Nynorsk: Arbeidaranes Ungdomsfylking, or AUF) is the youth organization affiliated with the Norwegian Labour Party. AUF was formed in April 1927, following the merger of Left Communist Youth League and Socialist Youth League of Norway.

Do you see the word Communist above?

THIS follows the exact same pattern I described to you months ago. These kinds of people, loners, misfits, deviants like Cho, The Community Center shooter, loughner....who just HAPPENED to show up in a cab driven by a perfectly innocent Gulen turk?
I have some info but for now, let’s just say that there is total misread of this...as usual, and when it is THIS deliberate, just like it was with all the aforementioned characters, the truth is unlikely to ever be made public.

I doubt he had any Christian motivations, but he probably had neo-nazi ones.

No need to doubt. If he is a Christian, even the most zealous of believers, he would not have been able to justify his actions on Christian grounds.

That he is a neo-nazi is certainly true. All muslim fanatics are neo nazis. That is the foundation of modern muslim terrorism. Referring to him as somehow conservative twists the meaning of words into unrecognizable goo. The heart of this horror has yet to be documented.

If he is what the LSM says he is, I’m sure he is p.o.’d.

But why indiscriminate killing? That’s nutbag stuff.

He was arrested...he probably thinks he can use his trial as a soapbox to rant against immigration which would be the most PRO-immigration he could do.

The lefty press will have a field day if he is allowed to do that.

You write: So why kill white kids.

First of, it wasn’t a bunch of kids learning about mother nature on this island. They were 16 to 22 year old members of the “Worker’s Youth League”:

Utøya is owned by the political youth party Workers’ Youth League (Arbeidernes ungdomsfylking), which holds a summer camp there. “I doubt he had any Christian motivations”

You can change that doubt to certainty, based on Christian doctrine.

I would note that neo-nazi motivations put him in the same broader category with Marxists and jihadists, all of which are opposite and antithetical to Christianity.

The 20-some security camera tapes will clear up whether any 'middle eastern males' were involved in the OKC Murrah Buillding bombing -- except that the FBI seems to have misfiled those tapes and can't seem to find them. Doh!

I listened to one live CNN reporter interviewing one who survived the island assault.

That victim said many of them tried to flee by swimming, but had to return to the island as the tired, because the distance was to the other shore was too great. That man then got shot in the leg.

The policy change should be that our leaders should start pressuring the main-stream-media to provide a "safe" outlet for conservative christian sentiments.

If the perpetrator of this crime is indeed a conservative christian extremist, wouldn't it have been better if he could have vented his frustration via a "fair and balanced" media instead of needing to use violence to get attention for his cause?

Will our leaders enforce a Fairness Doctrine that will ensure that right-wing conservative Christians receive equal time in the main-stream-media?

The BBC live blog identified the suspect as the manager of an “organic farm.”

He must be some sort of environmentalist like Tim McVeigh who defended animals in his writings.

Rambo had nothing on this Norwegian.

This Norwegian had incredible skills. He put together a powerful car bomb and we have seen how hard that is from Times Square and London. To top that off he planted another bomb high up in a nearby building and timed it to go off when the first responders were on scene dealing with the first device. That takes a high degree of expertise and coordination. Only a highly trained demo man could pull this off. But that is of course not all. He then drove 40 miles, got in a boat, talked his way into a camp in a disguise and killed 87 people with small arms. Somehow, at some point, whether earlier or during this evolution, he also planted a third bomb on the island but that one was discovered and disarmed.

This would make James Bond green with envy.

The skills necessary for a bombmaker are generally different from those of a shooter. This one guy was a one man Army. Or so we are told less than 8 hours after action.

One lone “madman” with a “minor” criminal record...

I ain’t buying it.

"IOW, it isn't the police describing him as a Christian fundamentalist." - longjack

From the article: “We are not sure whether he was alone or had help,” a police official, Roger Andresen, said at a televised press conference, adding: “What we know is that he is right-wing and a Christian fundamentalist.” So far Mr. Breivik has not been linked to any anti-jihadist groups, he said.

It is well know that anti jihadists kill Christian children. This is a slam dunk.

KetilbstensrudKetil B. Stensrud...hournalist tweeter in Norw. seems to be on top of this story.

Norwegian PM is currently speaking to both Norwegian and foreign news media. He’s clearly deeply upset, moved by this unprecedented tragedy.

There you are Mesta! Good to see you’re on this too....Yes, the truth won’t be told anytime soon I’m afraid...but this guy certainly was a target they could have easily swayed...already a Freemason would leave him open for influence and no friends...is telling.

Here’s something to chew on.

A 20 year old was arrested near a place where the Norwiegan Prime Minister was to speak today.

He was carrying a knife.

He said he was “afraid” after the attacks and was carrying the knife for his protection.

The message is clear for some obscure forces and their puppets and tools, you and people must think and admit that christianism and islam or both “religions of peace” or “religions of war”....

Christian civilizations and cultures MUST be broken....Obama is one of their main tool

A little bit *too* convenient right after the DHS said that terrorists were going to be middle class white males who disliked the government.

I smell false flag.

Not disposative either way: and recall that "right wing" over there is over in Rachel Maddow / Rosie O'Donut territory over here. During the Soviet Union the press referred to the Stalinists as "conservatives"...

Cheers!
