And when a person throws in the towel and steps outta the ring, it's called "match over, by default". Anything after the match is just all talk and poor sportsmanship by "the Quiter"

You've probably been around long enough for lots of people to have patiently explained the truth of Governor Palin's resignation, so I won't bother explaining it to you for the umpteenth time.

That said, it takes a hardened resolve to dislike someone, even when every reason you have for doing so, has been eliminated by reason and logic.

But that's alright. You go right ahead and do the dirty work of the Democrats, if it makes you feel good.

She went home and QUIT her job as governor. A position of TRUST the people of Alaska elected her to and EXPECTED her to complete until her term was up. Not be allowed to be hounded out of office by a bunch of wingnut liberals.

So, it doesn't matter to you that she was being effectively blocked from serving the people of Alaska, because of the avalanche of frivolous lawsuits, and was being personally bankrupted by legal bills?

You would have preferred that she continue to stand there, allowing the governor's office (not to mention her family) to be destroyed, lawsuit, by lawsuit?

Yeah, that makes all kinds of sense.

Get out of here with your libtard logic.

Face it. She went toe-to-toe with the "libtards" and she BLINKED. And having successfully driving her out of office the first time, ask yourself honestly, do you think they would not try to do that same tactic AGAIN as president?

Multitasking is a park of the Oval Office. And if she couldn't handle a bunch of meritless lawsuits, she sure couldn't handle two wars, the threat of a terrorist attack, a budget fight,a congress full of malcontents and egomaniacs and an ever so hostile press.

Lawsuits would be the lest problem of a Palin presidency.

I may seem to have "libtard" logic to you but at least it is logic. And not living in a fantasy world.

From polls taken after Sarah Palin left the Governor’s office, it seemed the people of Alaska understood completely why she left. They could see, first hand, what was being done to her, and knew that the stupidity would continue as long as she stayed in that office. Apparently, her successor continued what she had begun, and was supported strongly by the citizens of Alaska. If they were upset with her decision, I don’t think they’d have been so supportive.

...

If wanting the best of candidates is "the dirty work of the Democrats" then all is lost as conservatives have put their hopes in a paper tiger...

As an CONSERVATIVE (not a Republican Bootlicker) I want a battle-tested, time honored, rock ribbed conservative candidate that is able to withstand everything the liberals and their lackey press can throw at them and not succumb.

And unfortunately Palin was tested and found to be wanting...

Her misquotes, gaffs and poor choice of words never bothered me as most of that was just fog whiffed up and exaggerated by an hostile press. But forsaking an oath of office she swore by is too big an obstacle for me and alot of others to overlook.

The quit her job as governor is a red herring pushed by Reds.

I have looked at your posting history, and I find that you have been a red scammer from your beginning here.

Palin’s move out of the governor’s office was brilliant from every angle. It was good for the state because it stopped the financial bleed from the suits filed by those of your ilk. It was good for Palin because it freed her to run for the presidency, and also pay off all the legal bills. It was good for the Alaska GOP because it positioned a solid conservative as governor, and most of all it was good for America because it assured that Palin would be our next president.

Now go Red along somewhare where they don’t understand you and your motives. Say hi to O for us too.

'The Undefeated' ? Really? So she is the present Vice President?

Nope. The undefeated means that no one, no liberal, no Marxist, no pseudo conservative, no entertainment industry punk, no Hollywood celebrity, no politician… no one at all can break her indomitable spirit.

As Sarah has phrased it, she doesn’t retreat, she reloads.

No matter how often she is attacked, insulted, mocked, criticized, and ridiculed, she stands strong. No matter how many lies are propagated against her, she keeps coming back with her strong conservative message arguing for smaller government, fewer taxes, and less government intrusion in people’s lives so people can grow to their full potential. No one can defeat such a fighting spirit.

Quitting a job never looks good on a resume.

Well, overstatement is always dangerous territory, and your comment is no exception. There are all sorts of reasons why someone might choose to leave a job. It's not always particularly damning to someone's reputation. In order to make a meaningful conclusion, you have to evaluate a resume in context. Any less and you end up making foolish overstatements that leave you vulnerable.

I agree on Gingrich, Romney & Pawlenty. As far as Bachmann,
I love her stance on most issues, however, she’s not been tested. Plus she comes from the legislative branch. We need a proven executive — such as Sarah. And Sarah generates true excitement.

Drop the crap about Sarah’s quitting & deal with her positions on the issues. Then you’ll have a meaningful discussion.

George Washington as the American army commander in the revolutionary war lost almost every battle he fought, except the last one, where he won the war. So he was beaten several times, but kept on fighting until he won, and he was never at any time defeated.

Drop the crap about Sarah’s quitting & deal with her positions on the issues. Then you’ll have a meaningful discussion.

That's just it. I agree with her on all the issues and love the energy her can muster. I became a true believer at the '08 Republican convention. A strong, independent conservative woman.

Which is why it came as a punch in the gut when she resigned as governor.

I was raised by a family that when you gave your word, you lived by your word, thru thick and thin. And a oath wasn't just a bunch of nice sounding word jumbled up together. And she gave her word to the people of Alaska to serve as governor.

And maybe I'm a bit hard on her but her resigning out of the blue rang alot like another pol pledge of "No New Taxes"

I haven't ruled her out and if she's the nominee of the party I'll support her. But until then I'm looking for other options.

And her name-calling acolytes aren't doing her any service by blasting others instead of giving useful, productive reasons why she is the best. It's counterproductive.

And long after any reasonable person would let it go, some bloggers like to bait them as a cat plays with a mouse.(HeeHee)

And continuing to harp on a DU-type line is just talk and poor sportsmanship by yourself.

AFTER leaving the Kill Zone, she wrote two New York Slimes bestsellers, appeared in a highly-rated cable show which gave her free positive publicity to a demographic bound to be among her likely viewers (in fact, so far from having to buy the publicity, it has been reported that she was PAID up to $1 million / episode for the publicity), and dominated the nationwide political debate.

And (presumably) guided her daughter to Dancing With The Stars and to write her own bestseller; oh, and was a Fox News analyst to boot. And bought a nice house near Troon Golf Course in North Scottsdale for cash, apparently.

Far more than you've ever done in your sorry excuse for a life, chances are; and far more than Barack Hussein Obama, either.

You're too stupid to realize that it *is* original; the conventional term is "craniorectal inversion" (i.e. the head planted snugly up the posterior orifice) but this is cranial rectal infusion (i.e. the head infused with the effluent from the rectum -- sh*thead).

NOoo, I made a retort about death and "paraphrased" from the Bible. Just as if I "paraphrase" a line from Hamlet, doesn't mean I'm talking about the author Shakespeare.

Learn the difference. And open up a dictionary and look up "paraphrase" It will do you good.

An spelling error is a poor excuse for the bases of an political arguement. An English class test yes but not political blog.
