My entire political worldview was shaped by 2008 and the whole ordeal Governor Palin had endured from then and until now. I was a student at the time she was governor, and by mistake came across a tiny article on the internet (in a non-political context) about the Governor of Alaska giving birth to a baby with Down Syndrome...I remember being so moved. I didn't even know what she looked like! Then I heard in some circles a week before McCain's announcement, that she was being considered for VP and I PRAYED and crossed my fingers it'd be her! (By...

If one is to judge a sports media brand based on its external press, the last 12 months have not been good for ESPN. From hemorrhaging subscribers to declining ratings for its flagship show to excruciating company layoffs to high-profile talent leaving the network, it’s been a steady drumbeat of negative news coming out of Bristol Land. But on Tuesday at 7:00 a.m ET, with the launch of The Undefeated, ESPN’s micro site on the nexus of sports, race and culture, the company gets a big opportunity to boast about something transformational and positive within its walls.

Sure, Sarah Palin can be quick to pounce when something rubs her wrong. But when Michael Moore and others take after the man behind box-office hit American Sniper it gets personal. "You're not fit to shine Chris Kyle's combat boots," the former Alaska governor and VP candidate wrote on her Facebook page Monday night after Moore, the liberal filmmaker, Tweeted that "snipers aren't heroes" – which many took as a reference to the Clint Eastwood film starring Bradley Cooper. It turns out that Palin and Kyle were friends. They met and bonded in 2011, when the retired Navy SEAL was...

The key to the ultimate effectiveness of a documentary like “The Undefeated” is more than just how many people see it or even who those people are. Certainly that matters to some degree, but so does how the very existence of the documentary changes the national political conversation. Naysayers of the “The Undefeated” dismiss the film’s impact by telling us that only Palinistas are going to bother to buy tickets. In other words, since the film preaches to the choir there will be no new converts. Intentionally or not, that’s a fairly simplistic declaration that doesn’t take into account how...

Ahead of her Fox News special Paying at the Pump, Sarah Palin gave an interview to Breitbart.com. Discussing various aspects of energy policies, Palin’s final question was about the network’s boss Roger Ailes — and her response wasn’t exactly glowing. The question was: “Governor, many people were disappointed that you decided not to run for president this year, but are still hoping that you might one day run for the White House in the future. Roger Ailes was recently quoted as saying, ‘Sarah Palin had no chance to be President.’ What do you make of that?” “Interesting,” Palin said, before...

Coincidentally, on the day New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie held a formal press conference to again announce that he would not officially enter the presidential contest, DVDs of a documentary titled The Undefeated, an independent film about former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s record of reform in taking on the crony capitalists and the political establishment in Alaska, went on sale at Walmart stores and online outlets such as Amazon.com. A new national CBS poll, has Herman Cain tied with Mitt Romney with 17% of the vote. What may be more striking though, is that 18% of those polled were still...

I can’t wait to rush out tomorrow and buy my own DVD of The Undefeated … Meanwhile, Sandra Peppers has some great ideas for hosting viewing parties and more. This is a do-it-yourself effort. Everybody can play a valuable role. As Todd Palin commented on the interview with Steve Bannon last night … he was “blown away” at how much of Governor Palin’s record was covered, and covered well, in just a few short hours. Guest Submission by Sandra Peppers I know a lot of C4P peeps and “Palinistas” are disappointed and unhappy that Governor Palin has not announced her...

Since the moment Sarah Palin stepped on the national stage, her followers from O4P, C4P, and Team Sarah (to name a few) have been working in the background to promote her, defend her, and lay the foundations for a 2012 POTUS run. With the DVD release on October 4th, Palin supporters have an opportunity to sway voters to her cause. So, fellow Palanistas, if you have an "Undefeated" movie night, have it listed.

"To complicate matters, voters are faced with a hapless, ruling class of republican elders mouthing principles of conservatism while offering scant evidence they actually grasp the actual concepts. The GOP intelligentsia fecklessly flounder about, confident they will re-acquire the prestige and privilege of political power after Obama’s implosion, simply because it’s “their turn” to win a default victory in 2012. Shame on each of us if we bestow our exceptional nation’s ultimate fate into the hands of a group of self-serving, easily compromised politicos that have proven incapable of sparring with power-mad narcissists from the democrat party."

Mere months after the release of the Sarah Palin hagio-documentary he Undefeated, British provocateur Nick Broomfield (Kurt & Courtney) arrived at the Toronto International Film Festival with a counterscreed, Sarah Palin: You Betcha! The doc premiered Friday and it looks like it may leave Mama-Grizzly-hating liberals sorely unsatisfied: Let's take a look at Broomfield's "revelations" and see which, if any, of his punches actually land. • Broomfield’s drive to Wasilla through the icy Alaskan wilderness is punctuated by a soundtrack so ludicrous — ominous violins, shrill piano notes — that you’d think he was on the hunt for the Abominable...

Last Friday night I had the opportunity to watch The Undefeated for the very first time. I know what most Palin supporters are thinking right now, and yes I felt like the last person on Earth who hadnÂ’t seen it. With all of the anticipation, and after reading every review of the film, I had high expectations for this critically acclaimed documentary and let me say that it met every expectation, and then some more. I watched the film with some family members, but I also took the liberty to invite three of my college-age friends; knowing the importance of...

So, I inadvertently crashed an O4P event last night. Long story short, I wanted to see Undefeated, and I wound up with a little more than I bargained for. I thought I'd share some insights, while the scene is still fresh in my head. The local theater was hosting a private screening of the Undefeated, followed by a Q&A session with the director, Stephen Bannon. Mr. Bannon, was apparently pulled away at the last minute 'For a project that I think you'll all like', we were told, at which point none other than Andrew Brietbart was called to substitute in....

Steve Bannon just released a powerful film about Alaska’s history, our rich resources, and a committed team’s successful effort to tackle political corruption. Bannon’s independently financed, produced, and directed film called “The Undefeated” is now available on cable via pay-per-view and video-on-demand. I’m thankful for Bannon’s group at Victory Films for independently putting their own time and resources into documenting the work my team in Alaska did in successfully fighting corruption and enacting real reform that put local and state government back on the side of the people. Thank you to the good Alaskans who participated in the film and...

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has some ardent supporters who have been laying the groundwork for what they hope will be a “Palin for President” effort in Iowa. Peter Singleton, a lawyer from California, moved to Iowa eight months ago and he says he’s been using his own money to travel the state, going to Republican Party meetings at the county level as well as Tea Party events to sign-up supporters for Palin. “We personally believe that she’s going to run,” Singleton says. That “we” includes Michelle McCormick, who first met Palin in Pella in late June, at the debut...
