BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – A federal grand jury today indicted an Uzbek national for threatening the life of President Barack Obama and illegally possessing weapons. The indictment was announced by U.S. Attorney Joyce White Vance; FBI Special Agent in Charge Patrick J. Maley; Secret Service Special Agent in Charge Roy Sexton; Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent in Charge Raymond R. Parmer Jr.; and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Special Agent in Charge Glenn N. Anderson.
The indictment filed in U.S. District Court charges ULUGBEK KODIROV, 21, of Uzbekistan, with four counts of threatening the president – on July 9, July 10, July 11 and July 13. Count 5 charges Kodirov with being an illegal alien in possession of a firearm and Count 6 charges him with unlawfully possessing a fully automatic weapon. Both of those counts refer to a Sendra Corporation Model M15-A1 rifle.
Count 7 of the indictment charges Kodirov with receiving and possessing an unregistered grenade on July 13.
“Federal and local law enforcement agencies effectively coordinated to investigate a threat, which resulted in the arrest of Kodirov, who was charged by the grand jury this afternoon with repeatedly threatening to kill the President of the United States and with possessing grenades and an M15 machine gun,” U.S. Attorney Vance said.

Let the poor man go - Zero wouldn’t want any of his favorite ‘undocumented immigrants’ to be punished, no matter how many crimes they commit (against other people).
It would be tragic if he couldn’t vote for Dems in the next election because he is in jail. Hopefully, Acorn will figure out how to get him registered and provide him with a ballot or ten.

Uzbeks are overwhelmingly Muslim, although this guy may be of mixed Uzbek and Russian origin. First name is Uzbek, but last name sounds Russian. During the time Uzbekistan was a reluctant member of the USSR, thousands of Russians settled there as colonial administrators, professionals and Party hacks. Many of these folks—and their offspring—are still around. The communists suppressed Islam, but the country now harbors some Islamic extremists. Was this guy one? Don’t count on the press to tell us.

Both his names are Uzbek, they are just written according to Russian grammar. They have no meaning in Russian. This guy's name is ULUGBEK KODIROV, but the current President of Chechnya is Ramzan Kadyrov, a Muslim guy through and through. You can see that last names of both guys are identical (modulo transliteration to Latin alphabet) and as I understand they are derived from Turkish and Arabic languages, as this link explains.

Kodirov told a second confidential source on or about July 11 that he wished to kill Obama. That second confidential source said that Kodirov was a “very strict Muslim, who has previously expressed support for Islamic extremists.” That second source also stated that Kodirov views Jihadist websites.
