BTW...I like MB but I do not think that she can win. For a GOP candidate to beat dear leader that candidate must pull 12-20 million votes away from the numbers who voted for him in 08. I do not see that happening with MB or SP.

Do I understand you guys correctly? That you both think Michele Bachmann is "batty"? And that Bachmann should be compared to the infamous lowlife Debbie Wasserman-Schulz of Florida, the poster girl for the intellectual and moral decay of the Democratic Party?
It would clone the losing McCain-Palin ticket of 2008, but with a presidential candidate whose credentials for engaging Obozo are even weaker than McCain's, primarily because, anticipating he might face Romney, Obozo and his co-felons in Congress explicitly and deliberately shaped Obozocare to resemble Romney's fetid Sovietcare program from five years ago in Massachusetts.
Any ticket led by Romney would be fatally ill-suited to campaign against Obama and his Cloward-Piven wrecking crew.
Put Bachmann at the top of the ticket and you have a much different proposition, assuming Romney's nowhere around. A Bachmann candidacy would have its own problems, but we'd be fortunate to have her services as Chief Executive, should she win.

That's not the issue. The issue is, which candidate is best for our country? We have a number of candidates and potential candidates. Which one do we want to vote for in the primaries?
I specifically phrased my original response to NOT say that. No I don't think she's batty.
I was simply using the rhetorical device of accepting an opponent's premise merely for the sake of argument, and making the point that even if one thinks she is batty, she is nowhere near as batty as Richard Cohen.

I am very sorry if I gave the impression I am anything less than a great fan of Michelle Bachmann. I wrote very poorly and meant to say that if anyone should be considered batty it would DW-S, not in any way Michelle.

I for one would never vote for Romney. Bachmann is a force to be reckoned with, though.
