They'll have to come back to you. DEMAND a REAL CUT in spending!! Do not under any circumstance approve a debt ceiling increase!! Instead, insist on real spending cuts NOW!! The country is bankrupt. Do not allow them to take us deeper into debt! It's time for the HOUSE to do its job of controlling the spending!
The federal government is bankrupt due to Obama's reckless spending. Cut up his credit cards and force him to quit spending! It's time to put Obama and company into receivership! Make them come to the House to authorize current payments on the debts as they come due so that we don't default. Do not authorize any spending whatsoever on discretionary items until the spending crisis is solved. Pay the obligated social security checks, the military, the interest and the required debt payments, but that's just about it until our fiscal house is in order!
Make no bones about it. We sent you to Washington for one reason and one reason only and that is to take control of our big spending, big taxing problems and get our economy going again so our our people can get back to work!! Do not let the DC ruling class sway you. Do not take your eye off the ball. Do not fail to do your job! Our nation's survival depends upon your vote!!
Tell Boehner to get HIS ass in line!! Cut the damned spending, already!!

If the Senate changes the House plan it goes back to the House where it dies via the Tea Party Conservatives. This is the time to hold on and let the attacks begin. Rino’s are coming out all over the place.
Why did Boehner give up his ace in the hole and agree to raise the debt limit?
His starting point should have been we work within the debt limit so let’s start cutting.

The rest have been so wrong so many times they are pretty lame in my book. They are part of the 'go along to get along' crowd and don't know how to think for themselves.
Because he is one of them. Because he is part of the DC Good Ole' Boys Club and wants to continue getting invitations to all the good Washington parties. Because he is afraid of the media to which he craves their attention.

The Republicians control the house, the Dems have the Senate and the White House. But the US House of Representatives controls the nations "purse strings".
That being said.... The House voted on Cut, Cap & Balance and the Dems stalled it in the senate. The Speaker revises another bill that is very close to one Reid has. But now looking at CSPAN today (day off and had nothing better to do) I see the GOP fractured. Heck even FOX NEWS isnt helping me feel any better right now on this situation.
A fractured GOP translates into Reid/Bohner bill passing and Obama gets a temp victory.
I need some Conservative Moral Support - like quick!

Truer words could not be spoken. If the TEA Party caves OBAMA will excoriate them during the campaign. If the TEA Party holds Obama will excoriate them during the campaign.

Read the polls. This is hurting the Dems much worse then it hurts the GOP. People blame Bohner more then Reid or 0, but the difference is statistically insignificant. Bohner is just some jerk from Ohio but Obama is seen as the Leader of the USA. Rightly, or wrongly, the President gets the credit, or the blame, for what ever happens in the Economy.
The Dems, not the GOP need a deal.

My Rep is one of them - I have tweeted and gotten several responses from him today. He told me around 3pm he is a FIRM "NO".
And I replied that he has my FULL SUPPORT.
I still worry about a cave in, we didnt get all the RINO's last November. This whole issue is proving to be a perfect LIVE IN FULL COLOR demonstration that our President has zero Leadership skills and it is opening eyes. I want more eyes opened.
Well, yeah, and that’s another huge problem. How do we shutdown the damned fed? These over educated idiots and fools take us from recession to recession to depression to bankruptcy. I don’t think the founders intended for any organization, be it government or private, to (try) to control the economy.

Excellent Post! I totally agree; however, I don’t realistically see any way to our getting back to providing only for the truly needy...not without a revolution.
