Boehner Bill,
S.627. Yep, no typo there. Started life as a Senate bill.

Now that this ones in the books, the House needs to adjourn and tell the Senate, “You’ve got 2 of ‘em now, pick one and we’ll be back when you’re ready to conference, thanks”.

Passed. Now does Boehner go back to his office and draft yet another bill, one with the tax increases the Dems want in it?

Well good. Let Reid sit on this and kill it and then be forced to come up with something. I really don’t think he can do it by Tues. He is a fairly incompetent person.

Reid will table it in the senate to avoid having to vote on it and avoid making Odummy then veto it.

Can anyone get ahold of the names of the 22 Republicans that stood their ground and voted against this? AND, of the Republicans who voted for it? I’d ESPECIALLY be interested in getting the names of the “Tea Party” Freshmen who went ahead and voted for it.....

Can someone explain what the big deal is about having a balaced budget amendment? California and lots of other states have one, and California is going deeper and deeper into debt. Seems a balanced budget amendment is useless.
