US a ‘parasite’ on world economy, says Putin

On August 1, 2011

SELIGER (AFP) – Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Monday accused the United States of acting as a “parasite” on the world economy by accumulating massive debts that threaten the global financial system.

“The country is living in debt. It is not living within its means, shifting the weight of responsibility on other countries and in a way acting as a parasite,” Putin told a group of pro-Kremlin youth in central Russia.

He also suggested that Washington may have been flirting with the idea of a default in order to weaken the dollar “and create better conditions for exporting their goods.

Now that’s funny, when the international banking cartel at the Federal Reserve is funding a major part of the globe with their fiat money with our name on it.

Ain’t it amazing? A communist - correctly criticizing our dim-bulb president and congress.

Of course, given the idiocy of the majority of the senate, the minority of the house, and of course, our Cretin-in-Chief, it would be extremely difficult to locate a single head of state who’s not far, far more intelligent than these ....critters.

As much as I hate to agree with this commie, I have to agree with Putin, the USA’s fiscal and economic house is in great disorder, massive debt, and even the world can see that our elected officials have no will to get this problem under control.

We’ll keep borrowing money to maintain an artificially elevated standard of living until we can’t any more. Then US living standards will fall to world norms.

Amazing. If I had the choice of only receiving my news from Russia or the U.S. MSM, guess which one I would choose for accuracy?

Guess the Bear has forgotten the good old days when it raped eastern europe and whoever else it could get its hands on. I think most folks would consider that the ultimate in parasitic behavior since those ‘loans’ were the 5 finger type.

Remember, lefties always accuse others of what they themselves are doing.
Russia and China know that without a strong US economy to feed off, they too are doomed.

" We’ll keep borrowing money to maintain an artificially elevated standard of living until we can’t any more. Then US living standards will fall to world norms. "

The word's " TO BIG TO FAIL " will probably be the last words spoken right before the house of cards come falling down.

That road is fast approaching, and the raising of the debt ceiling WITHOUT real meaningful cuts in government spending will accelerate that ever faster and harder.
