House Speaker John Boehners bullet points on the deal say that it cuts discretionary spending by $917 billion over 10 years, as certified by CBO. These discretionary cuts appear to be the same as those in Boehners plan from last week. The chart shows CBOs scoring of those spending cuts (see here and here).

I bet the actual deficit for next year is closer to $4trillion especially as revenues will decline.
I heard Paul Ryan is going to bring a bill before the house to mandate Zero Based Budgeting....we shall see...
Does anyone know if this budget factors in the huge cost that Zero Care is going to be?
HAHAHAHAHA.....are you kidding? (actually I do not know....but, somehow, I doubt it)
Have you ever swim, swam, swum in the ocean after a life safer? With every stroke nearer you move the dang thing further. This is where we are probably, but IF we can convince and capture the middle, the Independents, we have one more chance but they need to be properly terrorized of any more Obama and the marxists in office. This is awfully tough since we have just ceded a campaign message to Obama and certain taxation to go with it via a committee “mob”.
Now I want all the FReepers that pi$$ed and moaned about all the meanies that were being so rude about Boner the crybaby, to come on here and say they were wrong and apologize. I told you he was a weak sissy and I was right. When he played golf with the Marxist Kenyan homo usurper in the WH it was a done deal weeks ago. Maybe Obongo promised him a ride on his favorite tax payer paid for toy, AF1.
Did anyone at this site actually believe that any proposal from those clowns would result in the numbers going down? Heck - a good start would be to just keep the growth at the rate of inflation. And that is exactly what they did. If you do the math those numbers go up about 2% per year.
To get real cuts we will need the Senate to pass it and a veto-proof margin to go around a fascist President. That’s what we need to work towards in 2012. I doubt we will get any relief before then. We are basically holding at the status quo.
And while we commend those conservatives and especially Freshmen conservatives and Tea Partiers who stood firm, I think we also need to show those Freshman Bad Brew Partiers who did not stand firm the door very quickly. Going. Going. Gone
We can not have those we offer our trust to caving into the corruption so easily without making it very clear that those who come afterwards with such promises better NEVER do the same.
TAKE A STAND AGAINST THOSE NEW BUT ALREADY-CORRUPTED INDIVIDUALS AND DO NOT LET THEM KEEP THEIR OFFICES!
This has been my song for so long as the kenyanmugabe has been in office. The man is not incompetent. He is not a failure. He will end with the USA getting getting an implicit name change- USRA- United Socialist Republic of America. We were wabbling fitfully toward totalitarianism before the kenyan. Now the road is straight and short and the lugnuts are tight. The kenyanmugabe has been a huge success and will go down ion history as the most effective president ever in the history of the old USA.
Even if it does, which I doubt, the predicted costs of zero care are probably extremely underestimated.
Does anyone know if this budget factors in the huge cost that Zero Care is going to be?<<<<<<
Paul Ryan addressed that very issue this afternoon on CNN.
This bummner bill passed this afternoon doesn’t even address ObamaCare expenses. Doesn’t even touch it. Like it was air.
By who? The idiotic republicans who voted for this bill already proved they're a collective bunch of squish. They handed the narrative to Obama, and they will get hammered come 2012.
What a shame we can now count on the GOP for shooting themselves in the foot. Obama played them like fools.
It doesn’t cut spending. Even if it did, they wouldn’t cut it enough to eliminate deficit spending.
By who? The idiotic republicans who voted for this bill....<<<<
No, not congress. They couldn’t handle the message! I’m thinking the candidates and their supporters better be Paul Ryan clones in expertly explaining the innards of policy and foreknoweldge of what catastrophe looks like. He is nuts and bolts and people gey it. The candidates need to bone up and learn the math, or shut up and be prepared to lose.
I know this. My question is really one to be presented to the unwashed.
ML/NJ
Didn’t Ryan vote for this mess?
Does anyone have the predicted deficits for
2014
2016
2018
2020
2025
2030
Assuming it would be over 20 trillion by 2018
Trying to save their phoney baloney jobs.
You have been screwed by the slickest con-men on earth....the US Congress. A true criminal enterprise.
Remember that Bin Laden was going to destroy the U.S. economy
One of his goals
