I was reminded of some people posting here about legal issues in Alaska, when she doesn’t have to worry anymore about BS ethics complaints, I think its around August right..after that she is a free woman and can run for President

Back in June, that date was said to be July 26 or so. When August is over it'll be Labor Day. When that's over it'll be something else. Maybe the mothership just isn't coming. There is nothing to be gained by further delay. Lefties want to bog her down in court, they will find a way to do it no matter what the calendar says. Or do deadlines suddenly count with lefties?

She WILL announce within the next 4 weeks. Trust me.

She stated last night on Hannity's show that she was "still thinking about it".
Yet, The Bronze Titan asserts that she WILL announce within a month.
Is Sarah Palin then lying when she states that she hasn't made a decision in regard to her running for POTUS?

By the way, she also again uttered that 'I don't need a title' line last night. Perhaps she's softening up her drones for a big letdown soon? This of course is pure speculation on my part. Unlike myriad Palin fans I don't claim ability to see into the future.

Let me first say that I support Rick Perry over anyone else in the race or possibly entering the race. When you speak of such things (Perry would be like Bush again) you have to put a few things into context. Sarah Palin has enormous name recognition across the nation. Good, bad, or indifferent, she has it. Perry doesn't. Only a mere 7 weeks ago, nobody had heard of Perry.

I honestly think his critics are largely this Sarah Palin contingent you see right here, on this thread and elsewhere. They/you are taking jabs at him because he threatens your ultimate fantasy - that Palin might choose not to run.

This is unfair and petty in my eyes. At least let Perry declare, become known, speak to the press, speak to the American people, and give him a chance to answer some questions, rather than relying on slanted blogs and innuendo from his critics. Sarah is already there. Even Gov. Christie and Rubio are better known than Perry at this stage. They have both been in the national spotlight multiple times.

Sean Hannity adores Sarah Palin, it is clear to see. He has been interviewing her for quite some time. He has puppy dog eyes when she appears for an interview. Palin holds NO office whatsoever right now. This enables her to speak freely and blast whomever she sees fit. Keep it in context. I love the woman just like the rest of you. I'd be happy as a pig in ______ if she was our next president.

Can she win, is my biggest question. You folks have to realize that no matter how much you/we like her, there is an enormous amount of people (repub, conservative, independent, et al) that don't. You are largely outnumbered, I'm afraid.

Be very practical when laying your support to the best candidate, whoever that may be. Take off the blinders and consider the larger picture. Think long and hard about it. I urge everyone to do this.

By the way, I enjoyed her interview last night. Nice job, Sarah.

Well said.

Palin is a great bomb-thrower and can get away with it precisely because she has no skin in the game. And, although her bombing missions usually hit the target, they turn away as many voters as they attract, perhaps more.

I have always seen her as playing the same role that Jesse Jackson played in the eighties/nineties in the sense that they both use their notoriety to shine light on particular issues but they are also both too marginal to ever garner enough of the middle to be elected (now watch the "you said palin is jesse jackson" nonsense start).

You mean, how when I praised Palin and vouched for her authenticity because she reflects the uniquely American spirit as seen in commercial fisherfolk that I know so well, my own background, and you came back SEVERAL TIMES with "you said runing a commercial fishing boat qualifies her for the presidency" nonsense? Or like how, when I observed that you must agree with the New York liberals you have heard call Palin an "idiot," you came back with "you said I was a liberal" nonsense?

Holy cow! Talk about projection.

When I say Perry will not be much different than GW Bush, you have to realize where I am coming from!

I know some/many here to be compared to Bush is the lowest of all insults, but I have been a big supporter of Bush, hence my handle Friendofgeorge. So when I say he is not that much different than Bush, I do not mean it with the disrespect that others would mean.

I still have much respect for many of the things GW has done (no not everything to be sure) his Supreme Court appointments, his pro life stance, his handling of 911/terrorism all great!

In fact Perry is probably the best bet of the lot if GOD FORBID Palin does not run.

Still a President Perry would be a giant step down from a President Palin.

But I fully expect Gov Palin to run and win, so settling for second or third best will not be an option.

A President Perry would NOT be satisfactory after all that we have been through IMHO, would be back to same old same old. Sure he is going to start to say all the right things, be seen at the right prayer meetings/Churches etc..how genuine???

We have the GENUINE ARTICLE IN GOV SARAH PALIN, settling for second or 3rd best is not the way to go.

Since you always seem to know what Palin is going to do and is thinking and I have seen you tell all who don’t support her and her alone to literally stfu. Please see post 186. A reality show about her hair? What is this about, is it for real?

You have obviously become obsessed with me. Perhaps I should be flattered but it seems as though your obsession might not be too healthy for you. Thank you for your interest though.

100% correct. Perry will follow the establishment GOP path. It will be trumpeted as "conservative" and "unconvential" in the MSM and it, like he, is nothing of the kind.

I believe that very same establishment GOP/Republican party will throw back of the barn support to Ricky in the race for the nomination knowing he will play ball upon arrival in dee-cee.

He needs to be plastered to the wall by Sarah. That is going to be tough because MSM will smell looser all over Mitwitt and see Ricky as the desirable RINO nominee, thus declaring him the "right" choice for the GOP.

Lt. Colonel Allen West needs to get into this fight on Sarah's side. This will split MSM support away from Perry.

It will also give us a damn fine VP and future candidate for President.

.

The Great One, Mark Levin, is on my side on the Rubio eligibility question. I trust Mar’s fealty to the U.S. Constitution. But, it will be decided by others. Bob

Sorry for the typo, but it bears repeating: There IS no other Sarah Palin, no sufficient surrogate.

Can she win, is my biggest question.

The fact is, if she can't win, then this country we love is doomed. So it really won't matter in the long run.
