The fact is, if she can't win, then this country we love is doomed. So it really won't matter in the long run.

That almost sounds delusional. No offense intended, but try not to be so defeated if the fantasy doesn't come true.

It makes my head spin to hear people say Perry is "establishment RINO" while in fact he's made almost an IDENTICAL footprint as Palin. He's a governor, she was a governor. Neither have been in D.C. They're both conservatives.

What the hell makes Perry any more "RINO" than Palin??

Pardon my TX jargon, but that's a load of horse sh*t.

Perry is a common politician, IMO. He’s failed big time on illegal immigration, including his rejection of even Az’weak law, and he’s given in-state tuition grants to illegals for which kids from other states are ineligible. He’s pushed secretively, long and hard for the Transcontinental Hgwy, against public opinion. It would destroy vast swaths of farmland. He failed to speak out for border agents Ramos and Compean while they were being railroaded into prison, and an illegal Mexican drug kingpin was allowed to walk, or fly, I should say, back into America to testify against the agents doing their jobs. I’m not a fan of Rick Perry. Bob

If you guys had the courage to read Going Rogue, you’d be ashamed of your snotty remarks. Sarah IS the finest leader we’ve had since Reagan, and it’s not a close call.

Kids from other states are not residents of Texas. People that live here are. What he's essentially done is to ALLOW hispanics to attend college in Texas just like any caucasian or anyone else. Because they LIVE HERE and maybe they were born here, or don't have documents, but he'd rather EDUCATE them if they want to attend college than to alienate them and spend thousands/millions investigating their status. If a kid is from out of state, they're from out of state. Done deal, pay non-resident tuition. Savy?

He isn't weak on immigration. He can't institute his own border laws, as he correctly felt AZ would be shot down in federal district court. They were. The fact is, Bob, you haven't put much of an argument together. Has more holes than a slice of swiss cheese.

If Obama can get 50% of the vote, against anyone then, I stand by my statement. Perhaps you have deluded yourself into thinking the Republic can survive against a population that is content to steal their subsistence from the few workers we have left.

Of course I guess there is the possibility of shmoos returning to Dog Patch.

-"Love her, sent $ to her PAC, traveled 2 hours each way to see her movie..."

I sent a symbolic donation yesterday to SarahPac of 20.12, hopefully she'll get the msg. I suggest MANY out there do the same thing and put 20.12 and press the pay button.

Sorry couldn't post earlier as I've been on the road all day and the same for tomorrow.

Strange things happen in the world of politics and I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen in this one also. I would support Palin is she does get the nomination but I'm not enthused with any of the bunch at this time. I just don't see Palin really wanting to become tied down and her and her family put in the bubble that a Presidential candidate has to endure. Especially since they seem to enjoy the outdoors, AK area, etc that they've had to enjoy for such a long time. I maybe totally wrong and wouldn't be surprised if I am.

I'm surprised at Perry even putting his name forward as I never looked at him as a candidate. I viewed him as enjoying the Texas scene, laid back and not wanting the DC thing. But who knows what makes a person tick. He would work at it hard I believe if he does decide to enter the race as I think he'll survey the potential before making the jump knowing what it will take to win.

All that said I still can see Palin endorsing Perry on Sep 3 and declining the race for herself. Who knows what will happen but I do hope that at the very least we get someone from the conservative side that will help restrain some of the liberal ideologues we have up there now.

Take care.

Typos add character! :o)

As to Rubio, the US had gone out of its way to set Cuba up as a soverign nation, and declared it to be so. That puts Rubio outside of the eligibility question.

Its not what the puppy asked, but what our next president answered that counts.

Her answers were right on the money, and then some.

This time Hannity did something right.

That is an incredibly stupid comparison.

Perry is naked on the important issues, wrong on every one of them. Mr Gardasil needs to go live in Europe where he fits in.

Don’t get confused; Palin knows that Perry is a turd on all the important issues; she is the most astute politician of our time. Look at what she did in Alaska; she doesn’t condone Perry’s ilk in real life.

So, you’re with Obama and Holder. You don’t believe that states have the right to defend themselves, and that no one can make a move without permission from the Communists in Washington. What the hell are you doing on THIS site? Check out obots.com. Cordially, Bob

She’s never going to be president. If she runs, which I doubt, she’ll never make it out of the primaries.

I’m not confused. Is Palin confused based upon her statements about Perry?

**Rick Perry is true to conservative principles even when others think the party needs to go a different direction.

**He does what is right regardless of whether it is popular.

**He walks the walk of a true conservative.

**Not every child is born into ideal circumstances, but every life is sacred. Rick Perry knows this – it is at the core of his being.

**Will you join me in supporting a true conservative for governor – Rick Perry?

**Rick Perry is proven and principled.

Theses Palin groupies think she is the only one that can save this country all awhile bashing Bachmann and Perry. These groupies would call Reagan a RINO. Have they studied his amnesty/immigration policies?
