Since we’re grooving on insane left-wing double standards today, here’s the second thing this guy has said in the past 24 hours that would have become a national media scandal had his party affiliation been different. And before one of our three lefty readers wonders — no, this isn’t a Fox scoop. Other reporters heard Biden say it, including one from the Boston Globe. Which raises the question, what’s the dumbest part of this? That he’d joke about a cracked skull with Gabby Giffords, who may very well prove to be permanently disabled from having “joined the club”? Or that he found it amusing enough to share the anecdote with reporters later on? Free advice for conservatives and independents: Do not attempt this “joke.”Not only is it tone-deaf and callous, but you won’t get graded on the curve afterward. (“Oh, that Joe!”)
Giffords herself, you’ll be glad to know, is coming along well enough that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz thinks she can make it back to Congress. But reports early this morning that she’s planning to run for reelection turned out to be wrong. They’re hopeful that she’s well enough, but it’s still wait-and-see.

joe biden is beyond stupid. He’s a real goof. He’s a clown. A joke. A goofball with no class or common sense. The woman was SHOT IN THE HEAD. What the hell did he mean about being in the cracked head club? She almost died. I’m glad to see she was able to come back and vote. I do not agree with her vote but it is her right and responsibility to vote and she was able to walk in and make it happen. I saw that photo of VP Bite-me and the trooper after the incident and have never seen anyone who could be such a dead ringer for W. C. Fields. The trooper has to be the illegitimate offspring of Fields.
It is obvious that when they cracked the cranium of Joe Biden, they forgot to put all the parts back in.
