New bombshell allegations from a high-ranking member of the Sinaloa cartel claim that the U.S. government agreed to allow drug smuggling into the U.S. in exchange for information on rival cartels.

Republicans get accused of this, like the reports that CIA was importing crack to inner city neighborhoods.
Democrats, like Clinton and Mena, NEVER do this sort of thing, so I expect that Obama’s admin had nothing to do with this. Must have been Bush’s Fault.

Anyone thinking that the Govt. putting up signs banning Americans from National Forests and sending Border Patrol agents away from smuggling routes over ‘environmental concerns’ had nothing to do with illegals smuggling drugs really needs mental help.
And every last Govt. person involved needs to be tried, sentenced and put in prison.
The only person you could believe when they said “I want some heads” was Colonel Kurtz.
The corruption is so imbedded and widespread that if Issa ever does, it will likely take the whole government down.

I’m afraid you may be right. All politics aside (since this has likely been going on for some time)...something like this does seem to make sense. As a veteran and an American I can only hope it isn’t true. But I sure wouldn’t bet on it.

I hope I’m wrong but with all the insanity and lies coming out of DC lately that so surely fly in the face of reality, SOMETHING big is being covered up at high levels regarding ‘the way things are behind the scenes.’
I do not doubt for a moment that knowledge of that ‘something’ is what results in good men like Alan West suddenly going 180 deg. like he did in the debt fiasco for no fathomable reason.
I always thought it was a little harsh to serve 12 years for shooting a fleeing drug runner in the buttock once. (Ramos-Compean).
Democrats didn't waste a single second worrying about that when they went after Nixon over watergate. They could not have cared less.
But our side gets all worried about it.
I don't know if our Nation can survive the sheer volume of corruption we have in government at this point.
