How in the world could they know that they killed the muslims directly responsible for shooting down the helicopter? How could they know WHO was personally responsible?

I wondered the same thing. I don’t expect the truth about any of this.

Unless they leveled the entire area immediately after that copter went down, they don't.

Very good question. They know the exact pig that did it? Makes no sense.

Our guys were tracking them.....

The strike killed Taliban leader Mullah Mohibullah and the insurgent who fired the shot associated with the Aug. 6 downing of the CH-47 helicopter, which resulted in the deaths of 38 Afghan and coalition service members,” the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force said in a statement.

According to the statement, the two men were attempting to flee the country in order to avoid capture. The strike killed them along with “several” Taliban associates.

It's bullshit from Obama and his PMSNBC. Obama has to get the blame off of him and Biden.

The article does say we tracked the bastids - maybe a MOAB pretty much ensured the RPG triggerman went down. I certainly have more faith in our military than this administration. Hoping this is true. ;-)

Exactly. More bs coming out of our government. The bs is already up to our knees, when will we say enough is enough and start shoveling?

This smells, just like Osama and the Seals. This administration is turning more and more into the Area 51 administration. LOL

It's called "a nice, clean story that may be true or may be fabricated but nobody will ever know the truth anyway."

In different times this might have been called "propaganda."

Kill all of them, it is the only way to be sure.

Just a guess, but the fact that it was a trap for the seal team, and that we sent them into the trap not in their usual helos that have infrared adsorbing paint but in a regular transport helo that does not. The old tech stinger does not work so well on the Seal teams regular choppers...

My guess is that "command" was tracking them before they took out the non seal chopper filled with the guys that took out Bin Laudin. I suspect a political payoff to Saudi, to appease the Muslims with our oil supply. And I suspect "Command" knew the guy who fired the stinger by name before he fired it. So we trade off Team 6 to appease the Muslims, and we blow up the Hitmen to appease the Americans.

I also suspect this "Command" comes from the very top. Game over, but the stink will be hard to wash off...
