Presidential hopeful Jon Huntsman has snagged an endorsement in a key battleground state - Jeb Bush Jr, the son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

Rumors of a "major" announcement from the Huntsman campaign have been circulating through Florida for days, leading many to speculate that the former governor himself would throw his weight behind Huntsman. It was his 28-year-old son, however, who accepted a position with the campaign and detailed his support in a statement released Wednesday.

Jeb Bush Jr. isn’t running for ANYTHING in 2016. He’s the 24-year-old SON of Jeb Bush the former Governor.

God, this is just HILARIOUS. Announce a major endorsement, and it turns out to be a nobody CHILD of a famous politician.

I guess Huntsman is hoping that people won’t notice the Jr., and think it’s actually the Governor.

Which is stupid, because if anybody actually starts saying that, it will force Governor Bush to come out and deny that he’s endorsed — which would be a decidedly NEGATIVE thing for a campaign.

Thank you Jeb, for reminding us of what an open-borders, Obama-friendly, pathetic RINO you really are.

That’s one way to kill Huntsman’s campaign: a Bush endorsement!

Actually, I think Rick Perry's soon-to-be presidential campaign asked the Bush family to kindly keep the Bush name away from Governor Perry, so we're seeing the Bush name associated with Huntsman instead. LOL

Brilliant Perry campaign strategy! I say brilliant! :)

And there you have it. Another Bush lives down to expectations.

This should enthrall the “conservative” radio talking heads who had such man crushes on Jeb; guys like John Gibson, touting Bush as the best candidate out there.

It’s understood that Jeb is a JR. That was the point being made, that he is doing his father’s bidding to see which way the wind is blowing.

No more Bushes, No More Clintons, No more Obamas. Someone like Reagan would be a good choice, though.

Why is it weird ? Two years ago Jeb Jr got on board Marco Rubio’s campaign when he was polling at 3 percent and that didn’t work out so badly. The son is heading up Gen H, the campaign’s new youth and young professional outreach program as an established figure in the state in his own right. I don’t see anything strange about it.

The elder Bushes I’m sure are all holding off endorsements at this point.

I respect the other candidates. But in a time of such global upheaval and strife, America needs a serious, experienced leader to restore America’s promise, and that leader is Jon Huntsman.

Let me be the first one to flame you. Huntsman is slime. He's a global warming enthusiast. He's de facto for gay marriage. For crap sake man he was Obama's Ambassador to Red China! He's even worse than Romney.

Jeb Jr. for Huntsman huh? In only slightly less significant news the fly I swatted the other day endorsed Fred Karger with his dying breath.

I'm sick and tired of the term "rino." It has come to mean anybody, EVERYbody who has a single thought that another person disagrees with.

It is worn out and has no real meaning anymore!!!!!!!!!
