I say that because Perry likes things easy. If Palin is in it won’t be easy. Perry has never been in a real campaign.

Because Perry is not of the elite, just like Sarah Palin isn’t. He’s not a skull and bones lawyer or a Harvard commie. He’s an A&M agri-businessman. Plus Perry let loose one time that Dubya was not really a conservative, lol

I see people posting that over-and-over, but I haven’t seen anything concrete, other than crap that clearly originated with Romney.

Bush and the whole clan tried to get rid of Perry in the last election because Perry was too conservative for them.

That was clearly strange way to treat a fellow RINO, if Perry is a RINO.

“Perry has never been in a real campaign.”

Except for the knock-down-drag out between him and Kay Bailey Hutchenson, you mean, where Bush, Rove, etc endorsed KBH.

“IMHO ...Perry is the one to beat Obama hands down!”

EXACTLY! Gov. Perry’s job record outshines Obama’s brighter than a million suns. Gov. Perry will take him to the cleaners in the debates.

I love how he doesn’t play with the media; he simply ignores them and goes after the real opponent.

The GOP nominee has to make the case to the voters that they are the best to beat Obama......and Gov. Perry can do that!

GW could’ve been one of the greatest presidents of the US, but he decided to (bleep) up.

Hopefully, Perry will have learned a lesson from GW’s mistakes.

When GW started his presidency, the country was not at the point of being destroyed. This time it is and hopefully Perry loves his country enough to fix things up.

If Palin doesn’t run I will support Perry in the Primary on one condition: that he skewers Obama constantly and pointedly. That may seem petty but it’s the main test....because it means he won’t shy away during the debates with Obama if Obama actually lowers himself to a debate. Another question I have is are there any skeletons we should be worried about?

-"I say that because Perry likes things easy. If Palin is in it won’t be easy. Perry has never been in a real campaign."

Perry said he had no idea he wanted to be President until 45 days ago. That tells me 'someone/some people' BEGGED him to run. Guess who? The tea party? - no, The people of Texas? - no, The GREAT ELITE DC ESTABLISHMENT? - YES!

Palin said that if the right person did not get in, that she would. Well, if you have been following what she's been saying, there isn't anyone out there to satisfy that claim. So, guess what? PALIN will be "IN" by SEPTEMBER 3rd.

My guess? AUGUST 26th (91`st anniversary of passage of Women's Right to Vote).

I think she would, if it meant beating Obama...

I like Sarah Palin, but I do not believe she could beat Obama in 2012, Independents, Democrats and Liberals would vote for Obama just to see her not win..

Gov Perry I believe, could win many Independents and even Democrats who are unhappy with Obama

I don’t think she’s running either. She is going to be in Iowa this week to be on Hannity’s show. I think she will say she’s out and endorse Perry or at least brag on him.

Hope to vote for somebody more conservative in the primary, but I am firmly in the anybody but Romney camp.

Seriously, Romney is Kerry.

BINGO

Right as Romney was starting to slip.

Hopefully, they have been too slick this time and Romney and Perry take each other out.

What you fail to see is that Palin said that before Perry announced and he still hasn't. Palin was waiting for Perry to decide if he was or was not going to run.

BTW I seriously doubt Palin would announce her running on the anniversary of Woman's Right to Vote in order to make some kind of a point. That is something Hildabeast would do.

“....Kinder Gentler Bush Sr....”

.
I was overseas when I heard the words “a kinder, gentler society” mentioned by VOA in 1989 inauguration address, after those eight glorious years of Reagan.

I thought they were a slap in Reagan’s face and I knew then that the touchy-feely era had arrived.

-"I like Sarah Palin, but I do not believe she could beat Obama in 2012,"

I will try to be gentle here. You have bought into a lib 'meme' that says "Palin cannot beat Obama". That does not hold up to any historical analysis in Presidential politics.

Here's two main reasons:

1. They said the same about Reagan in 1980.

2. The 'Presidential Campaign' will be a '10 week sprint', the country will need to compare the RECORD of two individuals in short order, and accept what they have, or a new beginning! Palin's record and 'tenacity' will far outshine and outdo the "Emperor with No Clothes".

Do a search for keyword *Perry* and I promise you’ll read just about everything you could possibly want.

And don’t worry, Perry will paste Barry’s butt to the wall.

Yeah, it was a slap in the face to Reagan. It was as if to say we had been “a mean country”. Good God 8 years out of the Carter era and Bush Sr. is basically saying we need to be more humble. Sounds like Dem talking points.
