“Okay, where do we go from here?”

Let’s play the “if” game.

What if obuma gets re-elected? What if Brown represents the 67th vote to overide any obuma veto? Would it be wise to throw him out?

We need to look at history. After the 1866 election, Thadeus Stevens and the Radical Republicans had big enough majorities to overide any vetoes by Andrew Johnson, the VP who succeeded Lincoln after the assassination.

The Radical Republicans had enough votes to effectively strip Johnson of various executive presidential powers, including Commander in Chief of the armed forces. The “Radicals” not only controlled the military, they also controlled the judiciary. They passed laws forbidding the judiciary to rule on various aspects of the Reconstruction legislation.

Controlling the senate can be a complete checkmate against obuma if he wins re-election.

The citizens of Massachussetts and the Tea Party in particular have a tough call to make. Do you go with lofty principle or with hard-nose practicality?

Can you prove those 26% were on critical votes? According to the ACU, which made these rankings, he has voted conservatively on spending, realing in government, immigration, and judges. What is more critical than that?

I don’t know if the results will be different —they may be,
but here was what happened in the original primary:

Scott Brown: 350 towns
Jack E. Robinson : 1 town

Also if you’re counting on the people of MA to elect a true conservative, just check out some of the names of those who the people elected, besides Brown:
Deval Patrick
Barney Frank
Ed Markey
John Kerry
Jim McGovern
John Tierney

Brown is the most conservative we may get.
(Also “if signs could have voted”, Republican Bill Hudak
would be representing me now. Alas, Tierney, husband of
a money launderer who got a slap on the wrist, won again.
Seeing his closest race in years, he got the message out at the last minute...)

I am MUCH more bothered by lefties such as Lindsey Graham in conservative South Carolina that by squishy Republicans in libtard Mass.

American Conservative Union gives Brown a 74% rating. That's pretty good for Mass. We have Senators from Conservative states FAR worse than that!

Why can’t the Tea Party find someone to support in the primary against both Warren and Brown?

If I were in MA a vote would be fine anything beyond that he hasn’t earned, playing footsie with RINO’s has been a dead end.

HE didn’t act as the fiscal conservative he portrayed himself as. What would be worse than Reid controlling the Senate would be the pubs ‘winning’ the Senate and nothing really changing, no thanks.

Elect enough conservatives to WIN the Senate and get a working majority that will work with a conservative President.

Fat lot of good when the 26% votes go to the opposition on the big critical votes.

Voting percentages are meaningless without an issue by issue analysis.

No. That was only on issues of critical importance to conservatives as judged by the American Conservative Union. Those WERE the important votes.

Yeah, using multiple sources for the same two bills to make it look like he is constantly stabbing us in the back is pretty low. He has voted for us on a number of critical bills, and 74% of the time he voted conservative, according to the ACU, in 2010.

So if he votes wrong on regulatory reform and jobs, but votes right on judges, Obamacare, spending, taxes, and immigration, then he must obviously be screwing us on those important issues.

If the Tea Party is smart, we’d welcome Scott Brown to run away from us, stick his thumb in our eyes, and generally put us down. He can then be re-elected in Mass and continue to vote 3/4 of the time in our favor on the most critical conservative issues.

I’m blanking the US Senate race on my ballot next year. FYSB.

If, by the devil’s doing, Milt was the GOP nominee, I’ll skip voting entirely - there isn’t a clothes pin big enough that would allow me to handle the stench of a ballot with both of those Republicrats on it.

I couldn't agree more. Can't the voters of South Carolina read? How they could continually reelect a traitor like Graham astonishes me.

GOP takes the Senate in 2010 and CCB is passed instead of being tabled by the Democrats. Please, Conservatives, start THINKING, quit just emoting.

Claiming that a GOP controlled Senate would be the same as a Harry Reid controlled one indicates a total ignorance of politics.

Until the end of July 2011 she was on obama’s TARP council.

Are you really this political ignorant? She did not get on 0's team by being a "Common sense American". Get a grip.

This is the most Ideological administration in history. You don't get on their team if you are a "Common sense American., you get on their team by being a Big Government Democrat Fascist "Progressive"."

Yeah just what we need, another Big Government Harvard indoctrinated Fascist in the US Senate.

Elizabeth Warren (born Elizabeth Herring;[2] June 22, 1949)[3] is an American attorney and law professor. She served as Assistant to the President and Special Advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. She is also the Leo Gottlieb Professor of Law at Harvard Law School, where she has taught contract law, bankruptcy, and commercial law. In the wake of the 2008-2011 financial crisis, she became the chair of the Congressional Oversight Panel created to oversee the U.S. banking bailout (formally known as the Troubled Assets Relief Program). She long advocated for the creation of a new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau,[4][5] which was established by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act signed into law by President Barack Obama on July 21, 2010. As the special advisor she worked on implementation of the CFPB.

I currently reside in Massachusetts: the choices for Senate are Full-on-Marxists totalitarian scum or RINO. Not pretty. I am a registered R and vote R except when I write my own name in.
