I mean in the November election, if Brown is renominated. He would be better than the Democrat, or at least he certainly was last time around. She was a corrupt DA and a screaming leftist.

What Mass. voters do is up to them, of course. But Brown isn’t likely to get much if any money from out of state this time around.

Brown hasn't done much different than what we expected. He is a NE coast Republican...to us in Texas that's a dem. But he has a R after his name gives the republicans in the senate one more R...he paraded around saying I'll be the 41st vote before the 2010 elections it ended not meaning much since...he voted with dems a lot. This is the best you're goin' get out of MA...

NOW...when a Republican was elected to DC after Teddy died from MA...it was HUGE against the left...let's not forget that. I'm still glad that happened.

"Give it to Warren to get rid of Brown"

Great idea! Let's elect someone who looks and acts like Rosa Kleb and politically makes Mao look like a John bircher.

With respect, I think we can do better than this specimen.

I will never support Brown and I will tell anyone who asks not to support Brown. He used the Tea Party and then threw them to the curb. I say let him fight for himself and lose, then he’ll feel what it’s like to be betrayed......

http://www.conservative.org/ratings/ratingsarchive/2010/House-Senate-combo.htm#MA

American Conservative Union gives Brown a 74% rating. They give Kerry a 0%. So you would rather the next US Senator from Massachusetts vote with the GOP 0% rather then 74%?

Run a Conservative Tea Party candidate against Brown in the primary.

No.

Not Elizabeth Warren.

“GLENN: Now let me introduce you to who Elizabeth Warren is. Two months ago this is somebody that the president did not, did not appoint as the head of this new Consumer Protection Agency because if he did, he would have to go through the Senate confirmation process. So instead he made her, I guess, executive secretary and the only employee. So by default she’s the head. But he can just appoint her to that role.

Two months ago in July she spoke at an event with George Soros and Van Jones. She also spoke at a conference with Soros in March. She’s a big, big Soros person. She’s a hero of the progressives. Arianna Huffington calls Warren her hero. Michael Moore loves her. Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders urged Obama to pick her. Al Franken wrote a letter in support of her. She spoke at Netroots Nation conference 2010, Building a Progressive Economic Vision. She said then, “Remember Franklin Roosevelt faced his economic royalists. Remember it took him years to get his entire economic package into place. It was tough, but it paid off.” Andy Stern tweeted about her the other day. He said Chris Dodd is wrong: The Obama administration should do what is right for consumers and appoint Elizabeth Warren to enforce the new laws fairly. She’s not going to be enforcing the laws. She’s writing the laws. By the way, she spoke at SEIU at one of their conferences back in 2010, way back in 2010, in May of this year. The AFL CIO has also come out and endorsed Warren. Everyone seems to love Warren, including the attempt to get the Internet to be regulated. Just for your protection, of course. They said that if she’s not given real power, there will be hell to be paid. She apparently is someone that the left puts a lot of stock into. If you don’t know who she is, she’s been the one who has been overseeing TARP to make sure that’s been fairly given out. But you’ve seen her before well, you haven’t. But about ten Americans have seen her before. If they saw Capitalism: A Love Story by Michael Moore. Here’s what happened.”

I can see the formerly grand old party’s new bumper sticker now:

“Yeah, we suck, but we could always suck even worse! Vote Republican!”

“Even then Brown seems to be no help on the issues we value.”

The difference is that while Sen Brown may not filibuster someone like E. Kagan, he will vote for someone like Alito. Not only won't Warren vote for Alito, she'll filibuster him.

I don't know why people make things like this so complicated. If you don't like Brown, primary him. If he survives, vote for him in the general.

Btw, anyone who said Brown ran as a conservative wasn't paying attention. He admitted he voted for Romneycare and would vote for it again. He said things like “it's not about republican or democrat, it's about commonsense”.

He has voted exactly like anyone should have expected. As yes, he is superior to the woman he was running against.

But here's what people don't get: Warren will not be a pushover. She has a compelling story, and is not an ivory tower liberal. She is more Ralph Nader, and less Nancy Palosi, and I'm not sure how it is all going to play out.
