HUNTSMAN POUNDS PERRY ON GLOBAL WARMING & FED SLAMS (Huntsman is a DEMOCRAT in Sheep's Clothing)

WASHINGTON (AP) — Presidential candidate Jon Huntsman is pounding away at rival Rick Perry‘s skepticism of manmade global warming and criticism of the nation’s central banker, saying those stands hurt the GOP and make the Texas governor come off as a not so serious national figure.

Huntsman, a former Utah governor who was President Barack Obama’s first ambassador to China, has trailed in early polls nationally and in early voting states, leading his campaign to pledge more aggressive attacks on the top candidates.

Perry, who entered the race last weekend and has surged to a prominent role, has provided Huntsman with an ample opening to take shots.

Perry said in New Hampshire this past week that he didn’t believe in manmade global warming, branding it an unproven scientific theory. He also defended the teaching of creationism in schools because evolution “has some gaps to it.”

“When we take a position that isn’t willing to embrace evolution, when we take a position that basically runs counter to what 98 of 100 climate scientists have said, what the National Academy of Science has said about what is causing climate change and man’s contribution to it, I think we find ourselves on the wrong side of science, and, therefore, in a losing position,” Huntsman told ABC’s “This Week.”

The 2012 election will unmask all pretend, two-faced Republicans for one and all to see. RINO masks are coming off and now the Tea Party aka We The People can identify and work to send them, name by name, packing in disgrace. The 2012 election is about electing freedom-loving American patriots. If a politician is not an American patriot, they must be exposed and voted out. IMO, RINO Hypocrites aka liars, corrupt politicians aren’t wanted and won’t be tolerated by Americans who love freedom and want a future for their children and grandchildren.

Consumers energy has decided against the reliability of coal and is going to use wind instead.

Idiots.

I agree. Notice how companies just GO with what ever the administration says. Have you seen the size of those blades. I passed a couple on I-96 this year and it looked like a big white whale. HUGE Wait till one spears an eagle.

What a waste of dollars in a state awash with hydrocarbon energy. Windmills are a joke.

"joke candidacy"

My very liberal daughter-in-law pronounced Huntsman her favorite Republican. I told her he has a chance of a snowball in hell of getting the nomination. Actually, she'd never vote for any Republican, but she wants someone weak enough to get slaughtered by Obama. To her, conservative candidates like Michelle Bachman and Herman Cain are "crazy." She also considers herself an expert on economics. Although she is in reality a very nice person, I have a very hard time not laughing when she talks about economics.

I seem to remember that Huntsman started his campaign with a speech about civility. He began by playing in the dems sandbox, buying into the worst stereotypes that dems have of conservatives then he flames out with this global warming bunk.

A candidates stand on this is an easy way to see how easy they're duped by the left. If he wanted to draw contrasts between him and Perry, he definitively did that, but you should make your opponent look the fool, not yourself.

Picking Huntsman guarantees a third party - and an Obama win.

I recommend not picking Huntsman.

Right, his criticism is a compliment. Now Huntsman need not get his magic underwear in a wad.

Poor Mr Hunstman. He gets no media coverage at all. The MSM just ignores him as if he was invisible. So help him get just a little bit of attention from the MSM I suggest that from now on ...
He wear Bunny Ears!
I'm series. That worked wonders for Steve Martin. He became pretty famous pretty fast and all he needed was a pair of Bunny Ears! And if Huntaman gets tired of the Bunny Ears, he could always switch to the:
Arrow Through The Head prop.
Another old Steve Martin gimmick that worked to propel his career. It's guaranteed that the MSM will not ignore Huntsman then! And if Huntsman could play the Banjo too that would be a huge boost.

He may even win New Hampshire with that triad.

basically runs counter to what 98 of 100 climate scientists have said, what the National Academy of Science has said

And if those 2 scientists can disprove the "science" then it is not science, but a theory.

I am one of those that believes Global Warming and Climate Change are hoaxes. At the same time, I am absolutely unopposed to free markets figuring out alternative sources of energy, particularly natural ones. Yes, I want the Government out of the business of funding and promoting companies in the alternative energy space. Let technology and markets figure it out. Some investments in research might make sense, but I did not study it enough to judge one way or the other.

...when we take a position that basically runs counter to what 98 of 100 climate scientists have said...

Has anyone seen a credible source for this 98 of 100 claim? Or is it just more quasi-scientific hype put out by the left?

And Romney or the extremists don’t ? A third party to appeal to the 20-30% of Tea Party supporters ? Game on ! Obama gets his 20% split of the opposite wing and Huntsman sits happy in the middle among the vast majority of pragmatic, moderately conservative voters. All he needs now is a better image campaign and more exposure.
