Aruba law is weird. If her body isn’t found within the next 10 or so days this schmuck will probably walk.

I really feel bad for her family, and at this time I suspect the worse.
Yet, what in the world is it going to take to get these girls to stop going off to places like that, and especially with someone they just met on the INTERNET.
Same with those boys in the Iran prison now, what were they thinking, Oh!, lets go for a trek along the border to see what we can see, sounds like fun to me. NOT

The Prime suspect was all over the Holloway investigation.
He had to have heard a million theories about how the poor girl’s body could have been disposed of without risk of it being found.
Given the snorkeling location it’s a safe bet the current victim is wedged under a reef, facing the open ocean.

I agree with you. I even remember people showing fairly detailed maps of currents on TV and explaining if a body were in certain locations it would not wash back up to shore but would go out into the ocean. I wonder if the suspect took her there to begin with because he already had a plan for disposing of a body there.

Well it appears she was no Angel....XXX pictures on the Perps camera. I was telling the Wife last night that it was possible she was in on the insurance scan and that she was alive and well.

Solicitor General Taco Stein said the search, the latest of several in the area, yielded no new information and there are no plans to resume it.
I'd say that if you have to have somebody named Taco Stein as your Solicitor General, then you probably need to cast a wider recruiting net in the future.
Not saying that any of this is Taco Stein's fault, you understand...but how many other island nations with public officials named "Taco Stein" have this ongoing problem in which visiting American blondes disappear without a trace? ;-)

“boycott! not a safe place”
I bet more than two people have gone missing in California over the last five years.
Does that make California and every other state where more than two people have gone missing in five years unsafe places and worthy of boycott?

Weird thing is, Aruba really is the nicest and most civilized part of the Caribbean You will, perhaps, forgive me if I avoid testing that theory. If you see her, share it with Natalie. No doubt she'll get a laugh out of it.

The guy she went with she had met on a dating site. Her longtime boyfriend said she didn’t like the water and would not get her hair wet or wade in further than her waist. More telling, the guy she went with took out a huge insurance policy right before the trip. Pretty obvious.
