I was on the 11th floor of the (at the time) Crocker Bank building in downtown L.A. when I was a youth and a 5.6 hit. It was weird to feel the swaying and hear the walls creaking.

Yep.. I worked on the 20'th floor at Sunset and Argyle in Hollywood for around 8 years... had a couple quakes while I was in my office. Each time thought it was a queesy stomach from too much coffee or something... sort of like a seasick sensation.

I’m on the 25th floor in West Los Angeles. The building is on rollers and all of the file drawers open.
