President Barack Obama could have a political problem with black voters in 2012.
Obama is still immensely popular with African Americans. But at a town hall-style meeting held in Miami Gardens this week, some black leaders and Democratic members of the Congressional Black Caucus said they are exasperated that the countrys first black president has not done more to address the needs of the black community particularly its 16 percent unemployment rate.
Can you say, black? Rep. Maxine Waters of California snapped at Don Graves, the executive director of the Presidents Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. He had told the crowd of hundreds at Mount Hermon AME Church that Obama is focused on helping every community, though certain communities have been hit harder.
The meeting Monday night, coupled with a jobs fair in downtown Miami on Tuesday, was part of a national, five-city tour intended to draw attention to hurting, urban communities and to connect employers to job-seekers.
The tour was a contrast to Obamas bus trip last week when he ventured to rural areas in the Midwest before heading with his family to Marthas Vineyard in Massachusetts for vacation.
The White House is expected to unveil a new jobs plan after Labor Day.....

People in hell want ice water, and the chances are about the same for either one.
Numbskulls. Sheesh.
That annoys the heck out of me too. During the Gore/Lieberman campaign, my aunt proudly told me that she was voting for algore because Lieberman was Jewish. I asked her how voting for someone because they were Jewish was any different than voting against them because they were Jewish. And it's every bit as true for race.

Bingo! As if they want jobs. They want handouts. He is not worried at all about the black vote. Heck, he might go from from 98% of the black vote down to say....... 97.5%? Whop-d-do.
Now this here’s just funny.
Ya can’t get much better than blacks complaining about 0bummer’s Socialism failing to create jobs for them!
I note that when the Mississippi flooded last year and several states were affected I noted that since its mostly white folks were being hurt that no one rose to their aid by calling for a National drive to help the poor devastated people; where was the usual Holly-Weird crowd who just love the easy media attention and where was the usual fund-raisers that usually emerge to help victims of these disasters (though the victims never usually see any of the $$)??
Maxine only cares about Maxine. Her tribe, I mean, caucus, is only concerned for themselves, to the detriment of the other tribes, I mean, people.
Democrats don't care about black Americans, only maintaining their dominance over them. They're trying to do the same to hispanics.
Further, Democrats want to take that plantation relationship and expand it to all Americans through ever more intrusive government.
They offer false freedoms (like financial security through dependency) as a cover for the real freedoms they steal (choices in healthcare, food, jobs, lightbulbs and toilets).
The bottom line is that the government CANNOT create jobs, except in makework nonsense.
The best government can do is get out of the way of the enterprising, de-regulate business, and then let a thriving economy create jobs.
That’s not what these folks mean, though; what they mean is, “Hey, Bro, tax Whitey and gimme a check for doin’ nuthin.”
And THAT is something Obama was supposed to do once elected, but at which he has failed miserably.
That's the new tone of civility. /s
She and her co-conspirators have gotten us to hell. The fight now, IMHO, is keeping our grandchildren out.
The problem with Obama and his fellow entitlement parasites, Maxine Waters especially included, is that they truly don’t know how to create private sector jobs. Any experience they have had with the private sector has been limited to class warfare attacks and using it as a convienient boogeyman worthy of ever more punative taxes, all in the name of fairness and the chilin of course. They have never seen the private sector as a job creator or driver of the economy and they never will, any more than a tapeworm is, or could ever be, capable or even interested in the welfare of the host.
I guess they are about to learn what counts the most with mac, the crybaby liar daddy:
IT ALL ABOUT HIM, FIRST, LAST AND ALWAYS HIM.
Everyone and everything else is just bus fodder to him, nothing more and nothing less.
