JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -- After making history this week as the first black candidate to win a major-party nomination for Mississippi governor, Democrat Johnny DuPree now faces the tough reality of trying to win a general election against a better-known, better-funded GOP candidate in a strongly Republican state.

DuPree, the mayor of Mississippi's third-largest city, Hattiesburg, said he's not daunted because he has usually been outspent in campaigns. He said he plans to continue running a race-neutral campaign focused on jobs and education.

"We're in the race to try to make a difference for the citizens of Mississippi," the 57-year-old DuPree said after winning the Democratic primary runoff Tuesday night. "Our first priority is not the (campaign) finances."

Another mediocre journalist trying to use sensationalism and racism to stir the pot.

Please AP, enough of the first black....stories.They do not always equate with success. Didn’t you learn your lesson after Obama? The only exception I will grant you is if you can come up with a first black Olympic curling champion story. Now, that would be almost as amusing as the Jamaican bobsledders.

As they find that the Race Card really has been maxed out, they will wail and moan. The only thing to do is ignore them. Eventually, they will go away.

There is not and has never has been any such thing as a “race-neutral” election in Mississippi. Anyone who believes in “race-neutral” elections ought to start by explaining the 85 percent of black people who voted for Alvin Greene in South Carolina.

Black people always vote for the black candidate. Wherever blacks are a majority, they vote for the black candidate in 9 to 1 ratios, no matter what their performance.

In 2012, over 90 percent of black people will vote for Obama for no other reason than because he is black. When Obama loses in 2012, they will burn down our cities and blame “White racism” for his defeat.

This “race neutral” crap is a lie. Is the NAACP “race neutral”? The Congressional Black Caucus?

What about all these diversity programs and affirmative action and “disparate impact” and welfare? Race neutral, right?

Just a bullshit MSM term.

“He said he plans to continue running a race-neutral campaign focused on jobs and education.”

Doesn’t that sound strangely familiar? Echoes of 2008?

With this race-baiter in the White House, I refuse to “ride in back”; our “post-racial president” has made it all about race.

Maxine Waters is “race neutral.” Just like Cynthia McKinney and Al Sharpton.

Obama and Eric Holder are “post-racial.” Every time he panders to the La Raza with his amnesty and sues Alabama and Arizona to impress Hispanics and then panders to his black supporters with his “diversity’ executive order.

The MSM still claims that Obama was “post-racial.” When he sat in Jeremiah Wright’s church, he was “post-racial.” When Michelle was proud of her country for the first time, she was “post-racial.”

The MSM is “post reality.” Antiquated. It is incapable of telling the truth about anything, not just race, but everything. Literally everything.

Pravda is more reliable than Newsweek or the New York Times.

“Every time he panders to the La Raza with his amnesty and sues Alabama and Arizona to impress Hispanics and then panders to his black supporters with his “diversity’ executive order.”

This isn’t working; Hispanics and white women are the largest beneficiaries of “diversity” orders. Blacks are losing the de facto race war in this country, to which whites are simply spectators; they are being displaced in cities, in the workforce, and even in prisons by the larger (and growing) Bronze Horde. Obama doesn’t need Hispanics for a coalition; he needs them because there are more of them than blacks, and they have better financial situations.

As if affirmative action isn’t insulting enough as an official government pronouncement of racial inferiority, in the not-too-distant future we will see laws that force companies to hire blacks specifically; despite all of the attempts to assimilate them with lowered expectations and “protective orders”, they are still falling behind every ethnic group that lands on our shores (including Caribbean and African blacks).

These creatures are single-handedly eliminating “white guilt”; may God grant them the strength to continue with their mission of sabotaging race relations for years to come.

Yah right. Another black socialist demoRAT politician looking to run another state or city (or in the case of 0dumb0, the entire country) into a bankrupt socialist Zimbabwe type cesspool.

I would vote for a conservative black man or woman and have more than once. I would NOT vote for a liberal regardless of color.

I voted for Alan Keyes (and would do so again); I’ve never voted for a pro-abortion candidate from either party.
