Top 10 Texas Democrats’ Complaints Against Rick Perry

Bryan Preston

On Wednesday, I received the same email from the Texas chapter of Organizing for America that the Dallas Morning News’ Todd Gillman received. In the email, the Obama team is trolling Texas for whiners to attack Gov. Perry.

The Obama campaign team is asking Texans to share complaints about Gov. Rick Perry, and compiling the critiques for possible use in Perry-bashing ads and other material – a sure sign the president’s advisers are taking no chances.

“Your feedback will help hold him accountable on the campaign trail, inspire fellow Texans to get involved, and introduce his record — his actual record — to voters across the country,” Hector Nieto, the campaign’s Texas director, told Texas supporters by email blast today. “Your words will remind him that even as he runs, he won’t be able to hide — a lesson he apparently hadn’t learned as recently as last week. That’s when his campaign explained that the positions he took in the book he wrote just nine months ago, like saying that Social Security is unconstitutional and `a crumbling monument to the failure of the New Deal,’ no longer represent his views.

“But what other Americans are just starting to learn about — and, frankly, reject — Texans have dealt with for more than a decade. It’s up to us to make sure he doesn’t get to run away from the truth.”

Nieto is so right. Texans have been dealing with the results of Rick Perry as governor for more than a decade. So right, in fact, that I’ve decided to draft a Top 10 list of the Democrats’ complaints against him.

10. Rick Perry is governor. Seriously, Democrats here complain about that a lot.

9. Rick Perry lives in a house that Texas taxpayers pay for. So has every other Texas governor, but that’s beside the point. Also beside the point: That Democrats were having their convention nearby when the Texas governors mansion burned.

8. Under Rick Perry, Texas still does not have a state income tax.

7. Rick Perry believes in God. For some reason, the Democrats in Texas have a problem with that.

6. Under Rick Perry, Texans are proud of Texas. Of course, Texans have always been proud of Texas, and Democrats have complained about that for decades, while insulting Texans and then wondering why Texans won’t elect Democrats.

5. Rick Perry has good hair. Very good hair. At many points throughout the year, this is actually Democrats’ number one complaint against Rick Perry.

4. Under Rick Perry, it’s harder for liberal trial lawyers to come up with scams to make themselves rich, so they can keep pouring money into the Texas Democratic Party. Or pay to keep major Democrats’ love child scandals a secret.

3. Rick Perry has cost the Democrats the Jewish cowboy vote!

2. Under Rick Perry, Texans’ tax burden is just too darn low, the state’s housing market is too stable, and too many Fortune 500 companies keep moving here.

1. And the top complaint that Democrats have against Rick Perry is that as long as he has been governor, there have just been too darn many jobs in the state of Texas.

I don’t give a fig what Democrats think.

I care a great deal about what Conservatives think.

Perry is a no-go for me, only it’s more like hell no, no fricken way, not even if hell does freeze over.

What are the top 10 complaints against Rick Perry from the Ron Paul supporters?

That would be more interesting.

Bet that Axelrod and Obama were ticked that the wacko fan of Ron Paul beat them to the newspaper ad they were planning to run, the one headlined, “Have you had sex with Rick Perry?” This is the Chicago thug politics that we can expect, aided by the homosexual Democrats in Austin.

So let me get this straight if Perry is the nominee you won’t vote for him? Meaning you either will write someone in or stay home. Either way it’s a vote for Barry. Can’t understand this type of thinking. You are saying if I don’t get who I want I’ll take my toys and go home.

LOL. Note to self: If I ever find myself saying the same things as 2011 Texas Democrats on a conservative website, it’s time to reconsider my opinion.

I am saying that I will not vote for an Al Gore supporting, open borders supporting, big government, land rights abuser, big spender, that thinks imposing a medication on girls by edict that wound up killing over a hundred of them nationally, is someone I can vote for in good conscience.

And for heaven’s sake, if not voting for Perry is a vote for Obama, then what is not voting for obama, a vote for Perry?

If Perry is the nominee in 2012, you’ll go into the general election without me.

I’m not trading one POS for another.

Remember Molly Ivens? She hated Perry mainly for his hair. Probably because she was bald.

And that whiney little commie turd Jim Hightower? He hates Perry, and always wears a cowboy hat to cover his shiney, lumpy, bald head.

That’s a valid comeback.

I don’t honestly find much funny about a guy that would deem himself to be justified to issue an Executive Order demanding every sixth grade girl must show proof of having a Gardasil vaccination or have her parents sign a form stating they didn’t want their child to have it, before that kid could attend the sixth grade.

If I knew nothing else about the guy, and fortunately I do, it would be enough to tell me he is unfit to hold any power whatsoever.

Thankfully the Texas Legislature struck that down in short order. (two weeks)

Over 100 girls have died due to Gardasil injections. Thousands (if not tens of thousands) have acquired maladies ranging from immune deficiency to allergies, and a number of things in-between shortly after the injections. These problems require those kids to take medications daily to counter the problems.

This guy was going to force this on ever girl in the state if he could manage it.

What a blithering idiot.

There’s no defense of an Executive Order this bad, one that was easily shot down by the state legislature.

I cannot fathom anyone wanting to give him federal power.

Fried crow, baked crow, crow noodle soup, or crow-pot-pie.....
So many choices.

Part of growing up is learning to not declare absolutes, they must almost always be taken back, my FRiend.

Oh yes, Molly Ivens, the spiteful harpy that died of cancer a few years back. Down at the DUmp, they still miss Miss Molly’s homespun humor and wit. I think she was so jealous of “Governor Goodhair” that she gave him that stupid nickname, but then Perry is a lot prettier than Molly ever was.

In other words, you are equating Perry and Obama?

Hey! ;^)

Look, you can take a road apple and shine it up all you want, but when you come to me and tell me it didn’t go through the cow’s mouth to it’s first stomach and back for more chewing, then on to three more stomachs, and through it’s anus, I’m going to disagree with you.

Perry is still a polished road apple to me.

I’m not partaking.

I said I wouldn’t vote for McCain. I didn’t.

I’m telling folks in advance. If you get Perry the nomination, I won’t be helping to give him federal power.
