>>>Well, that explains it<<<

Your writing is incomprehensible enough without nonsense like that.

>>>Of course, the [Ron Paul Followers] prefer to pay protection money to our nation’s enemies.<<<

I’ve never heard that before, but I’m sure you have a reference or two you can post links to. Let’s see those references. In the mean time I will take his word that he doesn’t believe in Foreign Aid, and I am certain he does not believe in Tribute. (I’ll bet you got that crazy notion from my debate with csense, didn’t you?)

>>>Doing so is so craven, so spineless, so utterly Left Bank!!! Their Randian element joins La Rand in regarding charity as “cruelty” because it prolongs what they regard as the unworthy lives of the recipients. La Rand shared this endearing view with Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Barrenhood. Whatever those two and El Run may be, it is not describable as conservative.<<<

Do you have any idea how crazy you sound?

>>>We need not favor foreign aid schemes (admittedly unconstitutional), to recognize that “these colors do not run” and neither shall we as a nation much less as a conservative movement.<<<

You got it right on the unconstitutionality of foreign aid. Who could we possibly run from in this day and age? We are not in Vietnam anymore. Who is chasing us?

For the record, these colors did run, in my lifetime, under Nixon and Clinton—not the soldiers, but the politicians. I was in service when Nixon pulled the rug out from under us in Vietnam.

>>>If we provide MILITARY hardware to an ally like Israel when it has to wear the pants in Western Civilization during interregna such as Obozo’s temporary regime, that is simply an extension of our constitutional right to defend against those enemies that Israel may cruch with those weapons.<<<

Do you not think Israel can defend itself? Do you not think Israel has the wealth to purchase weapons from us? You think we should borrow money and give it to Israel? To anyone? We are broke! We are worse than broke! And you want us to borrow money and give it away?

>>>As Santorum observed to the surrenderman in recent debate: Iran is NOT Iceland.<<<

What’s your point?

>>>Your conservative critics have EARNED the right to have condescending attitudes about the, ummm, “foreign policy” of Ramsay Clarke, George McGovern, Code Pink, SDS, the New Mobe, any older Mobes, Bertrand Russell, America Firsters and paleoPaulie, the new Neville Chamberlain.<<<

Neville Chamberlain was an appeaser, most likely. Even if he was not, he had no military to back up any tough stance he may have wanted to take. Ron Paul is no appeaser. If you cannot see that then you are blinded by hatred.

>>If you support [Ron Paul] on these controversies, you must expect to be flayed here since this IS a CONSERVATIVE website.<<<

Bring it on, but you try to take a writing course so I don’t have to waste so much time trying to comprehend your mess.

>>>You will need to receive your butt smooches from Reason, Cato, Pat Buchanan’s magazine or from Justin(e) Raimondo of that [Ron Paul]-style website antiwar.com.<<<

I’ll get mine from Ron Paul’s website and his interviews with the news media.

>>>No one who pays attention to [Ron Paul’s] craven fantasies of peace in our time (through relentless surrender to our enemies and through trade almighty could rationally imagine [Paul] actually USING those submarines (nuclear boomers) against this nation’s enemies.<<<

There you go again, lying about Ron Pauls position. For everyone else but nutjob, Ron Paul considers the 911 terrorists our enemies, that they are some still out there, and that we must hunt them down. Regarding his submarine position, it is not so hard to imagine when you consider his stance on Israel. He stated many times that Israel has hundreds of nukes. They can defend themselves. Sounds like Ron Paul’s version of M.A.D..

>>>After all, [Ron Paul] IS one of this nation’s enemies and a reflexive peace creep to boot.
Of course, no one in his/her right mind could imagine [Paul] occupying the White House, much less by the votes of Republicans or conservatives.<<<

Considering that all the crazies have come out of the woodwork in force attacking him, someone must believe he can win.

>>>When, by the end of his career (January 2013 unless he resigns sooner), conservatives have crushed the little quisling bastard once and for all, maybe we can stop listening to the ravings from libertoonianland and you can do something more productive (from your POV): selling the public roadways, getting rid of the lighthouses, antiwar poetry readings at MaryJane’s social revolutionary cafe and coffeehouse, rallies to keep the feds paws off the left sacramental abortion mills and fudge packeries, 10th amendment poseurs to protect social revolution, National Committee to Sing and Dance our Sovereignty Away; Students Wildly Indignant about Nearly Everything (SWINE) and the like.<<<

Naw, I’ll just stick to hunting and fishing until the next RINO you idiots elect puts the final nail in the coffin of this once great nation, for good.

For everyone else: the GOP cannot see how much damage it has done being Democrat-lites. And this clown and some (but not all) of his fellow GOP’ers in Texas gave us Kay Bailey (a RINO clown), Phil Gramm (a financial horror show), G.W.H. Bush (Mr Read My Lips—here’s 8 years of Clinton), and G.W. Bush (who gave us Obama and a filibuster-proof congress, plus another stinking entitlement). And the way Obama is doing, they may get complete control of the congress and the executive. Recall what happens when they get in power? They spend worse than drunken sailors. The only thing that might save this nation is to have someone like Ron Paul up there who has voted NO on every single spending bill, for years.

But, whatever you do, do not listen to this nut, and for certain be very cautions of Texas politicians. Don’t forget G.W. Bush who tricked me and many others into believing he was conservative.

>>>Understand something. I don’t want to make you an enemy. I just think you, and many otherwise good people are wrong about this guy, and I think your loyalty is misplaced.<<<

I know where you’re coming from. Up until recently I knew very little about Ron Paul, and didn’t really care. I supported Bush in 2000, held my nose and voted for him in 2004, supported Thompson, then Romney (against McCain), and finally held my nose extra hard and voted for McCain.

And where did it get us? It is not going to get any better with the field that is currently out there, except for Ron Paul.

He’s got some issues that I have to come to grips with. But he is the only one who seems to realize the desperate state of our nation, and how to fix it.

>>>How many more “government buildings” do we need ? How many more half finished roads do we need ? How many more “clinics” do we need ?<<<

Okay, tell us. How can Ron Paul stop the spending and simultaneously keep the money out of Obama’s hands? Clinics, buildings and half-finished roads will not hurt us. But Obama can and will.

In a previous post I replied:

"For the record, these colors did run, in my lifetime, under Nixon and Clinton—not the soldiers, but the politicians. I was in service when Nixon pulled the rug out from under us in Vietnam."

I forgot to mention that Reagan cut-and-run in Lebanon after the bombing of the Marine barracks. I should have remembered earlier because a neighbor (a Marine) was stationed in Lebanon about that time.

Anyway, that is three recent presidents that cut-and-run: Nixon, Reagan and Clinton, for the record.

Rand Slams Congress for Funding Egypt's Generals: 'How Does Your Conscience Feel Now?'
Sen. Rand Paul is hammering his fellow senators for keeping billions in financial aid flowing to Egypt's military -- even as Cairo's security forces massacre anti-government activists. [by "anti-government activists" is meant church-burning Christian-murdering jihadists]
