This looks like this is it, said Ted Ryan, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Fort Worth. The end of summer is coming up.

>>>Who would have the desire to cook Texas and cause grave drought situations? Hint...no help fed help with the fires...>>>
As Dennis Prager likes to do....3 guesses. 1. Rick Perry. 2. Tony Romo or 3. Obama Drama.
Pleased to meet you too, fellow refugee ;-)
I was born in Monterey (Ft. Ord), but spent half my childhood, and nearly all of my adult life in L.A. proper. Sold my little 1,200 sf house in Sunland for $395K and scooted to Texas when I could no longer ignore the handwriting on the wall.
Out of my six summers in Texas, this is without a doubt, the most brutal of them all. I’m sure that lifelong Texans will tell us newbies that we’ve endured a rare high temperature swing, and that coming summers are more liable to be a lot less brutal.
DING DING DING...we have a winner #3....he has a 14yr old mentality...teenager...and he’ll show Rick Perry and those Texans...for having such a grand cooking economy and jobs. How dare they not do what the feds ask them to do especially the EPA...and refuses fed money so we can control their schools.
Right...lol...I've been in snow, bone chilling cold, months on end, in the military, etc...Looks great on post cards, but....No thanks...
Besides, I we want snow, we just drive to it...But the best part? Is driving a short distance back home, to near perfect weather....
I got your snow, right up here in the local mountains..
Right where I like it! And can quickly leave it behind!
Already here friend,,, respectfully.
I have some family in Buffalo, and it is pretty country. I was seperated from my family and childhood home area for work, so you have to factor that in too.

I like it! Just happy to be home. South Orange County is God’s Country.
You make valid points but omit four importamt things:
1. Cowboys, Rangers and Mavericks.
2. Great college sports in surrounding areas.
3. Little to no Californians.
4. Republican state
That more than makes up for Dallas’ shortcomings.
Well, that makes a huge difference. When I got to Texas, I brought my wife and kids with me, as well as my business, and everything we owned.
I had to leave the state on a business trip just six months after moving here, and couldn't wait to get back. Home is where the heart is, as they say.

Uh, it’s Northeast Texas, not the Arctic. And it’s chilly here during Thanksgiving, and cold during Christmas and rainy and windy and thundery and lightningny during winter and perfect in fall and spring.
My mom got tired of sweating while cooking the turkey on Thanksgiving in Orange County CA and I got depressed on Christmas waking up to Sun and Surf while the rest of the country had seasons and now that I think of it, even Halloween is chilly and windy and neat.
But hey....you like the same boring weather year round...good for you. Enjoy.....People already getting excited here about the holidays!....You can feel it in the air......We made it and God is good!
Bingo. And he wants to turn Texas into California and Illinois. We better hope California and Illinois and the rest of the country turn into Texas (policies, regulation, taxes, etc) or we are all doomed.
Effective in 3 days, if you sue someone here in Texas and lose......YOU PAY THEIR COSTS. Perry signed that into law. And so it’s goodbye lawyers and hello doctors. I’ll take that deal anyday.....
Talk about a WINNER...Governor RICK PERRY is our CHAMPION...aren’t we lucky to have him!!!
Yes I have enjoyed the Lakers 10 Championships, and was happy for the Dirk too.
Our high school QB was Mark Sanchez with the Jets, and formerly USC. Google Mark’s high School. We know football.
Texans are Welcome, just keep the weather.
Our politics are horrid.
Good luck to ya....Hope ya get some cooler weather soon.

As I said, every state has it’s A holes. Even Texas. Except in Texas, their just bigger A holes. But mostly, good, kind, and decent people. Hospitable.
But when you run into an A hole like the jerk above...it’s a Big A hole.
