Israeli Officials: Palestinians In Gaza Got Anti-Aircraft Missiles From Libya

Palestinians in Gaza have acquired anti-aircraft and anti-tank rockets from Libya during its six-month civil war, enlarging but not significantly improving their arsenal, Israeli officials said on Monday.
While the rebellion against Muammar Gadhafi has stirred concern abroad about the fate of Libya's ageing chemical weapons stockpiles, Israel has no indication Hamas or other Palestinian factions have sought these, the officials said.

Israeli officials have detected an inflow of SA-7 anti-aircraft missiles and rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), said one official, describing an overland supply route that opened up between eastern Libya - after it fell to the rebels - and the Gaza Strip via Egypt.
Libyan arms being supplied to Hamas after rebels take contol of the route. Plus, they make their way to Gaza via Egypt, after they've had their own revolution.
Imagine that.

The new generation of airborne delivery systems make anti-aircraft batteries obsolete. The planes are wayyy up there, dropping standoff smart weapons. And as soon as they turn on the radar tracking system, things really start to fall apart.
But the stone-chuckers can really make the burqa crowd ululate driving the AA guns and missiles around in their Toyota trucks, with B-b-b-b-bad to the Bone playing on their CD players.

Actually, Palies did not get SA-7 FROM Libya as article falsely insinuates because they did not get it from Libyan Government.
Palies got SA-7s from NATO' Al Ciada operating IN Libya.
