I am skeptical of this story because it is by AP, it is ATF pushing the charges in the middle of the gunwalker scandal, and they are pushing this for all they can get.

Far more charges against a shop in Arizona were completely dropped for lack of evidence a couple of years ago.

Totally agree. Something smells very Obama-y here.

And thanks to the Obamaloon, there is very little in government any of us trust any more.

Military excepted, of course.

That’s what the gun dealer gets for cooperating with BATFE by selling guns to Mexican drug dealers! (If this sounds cynical, ATF pretty much blew its credibility away with the 150 or so Mexican nationals and two U.S. law enforcement agents it killed with Gunwalker.)

Oh suuuuure..!! They’re soooo worried about guns going south, yup..!

This is as calculated and media-centric as “Obama taking command” during the the storm.

A cynical move that smacks of sheer panic —be certain this is because the investigation has uncovered something even more black-hearted than the stuff we already know about.

More than likely these poor folks simply wouldn’t GO ALONG with something really horrible, and this is just to dirty them up.

Obama: No more benefit of the doubt at all.

I would like to know much more about this situation. Was this a cooperating gun store in Operation Fast and Furious? Did they decline to participate? etc.

Some cajones on the BATF. I am still hearing that the Texas Rangers are all over the F&F scandal in Texas and ready to make arrests of Federal employees. I hope this is true.

This gun shop is in Deming, NM, 102 miles west of El Paso, TX. Just about 25 miles north of Columbus, NM where the mayor and police chief were arrested for selling guns to a drug cartel in Mexico.

According to the news reports there was an ATF agent that bought a gun from the gun shop and the gun ended up in Mexico, so now the ATF is saying that the gun store owner knowing sold a gun to someone to be delivered into Mexico. The ATF agent more than likely had to give his real name, SS#, address and other info for the background check to the gun shop to buy the gun. I am trying to figure out how it is that they can charge this shop owner. From what I read about the gun sop owner is that he did everything by the book and this was not from just one person. The Federal Law Enforcement Agencies in the U.S. are starting to look a lot like Mexican Federales.

“Those who sell firearms knowing that they will be illegally smuggled into Mexico to arm Mexican Cartels share responsibility for the violence that has been devastating Mexico,” U.S. Attorney Ken Gonzales said in statement.”

This is just to funny in light of “fast and furious”. I will be waiting for the rest of the story about the raid. Somehow I don’t think we have the whole story.

The BATFE is just trying to cut down on the competition. Only THEY can sell to the gangs and drug lords.

Actually I believe this is typical smoke and mirrors to deflect from their getting caught in F&F.

Look for more of this to come. They have to arrest those who they made sell guns to the bad guys. That way I’m sure some will just vanish in the slime of government red tape. Some will most likely get shot resisting. The government is the current mafia.

Government liars and phonies seek to deflect blame from the BATFE and the White House.

Thanks to a compliant press corps and a corrupt congress, it’s working.

Arrested? Shouldn’t they get a promotion to ATF HQ in DC?
