I guess it wasn’t a joke. Don’t the Amish give their young people a free pass into our decadent world to see if they want to remain here or go back to the Amish community? I kinda wonder if they went off the reservation when they went off the reservation......:(

Five Amish men who were "allegedly under the influence of alcohol and controlled substances" groped and fondled two 13-year-old girls and a 12-year-old girl, according to a police report.
Police also found 4 AK-47s and 1 RPG at the scene. 2 of the Amish men were said to have a remarkable resemblances to Jimmy Hoffa Jr. and Donald Trumpka.

Oh those wild and crazy Amish! If only the public actually knew that really goes on in some of those Amish homes, they won't hold them up as being wonderful people. Its a cult with cult like behavior and they aren't immune from bad conduct.

Have never been accused of being a post police guy, but really. This has been posted three times today and they are all on the front page.

(To some, George Orwell's story, "1984" is a cautionary tale. To others, it's a "how to" manual.)

If the Amish even eschew buttons, HTH do they keep their clothes on?!?

Some of the "modern" Amish are allowed plain buttons. Those who cling to the old standards use a "hook & eye" approach (like a typical closure on a bra). Zippers are forbidden. Ditto for belts.
