[history]
When Mitt Romney and Rick Perry thumped their chests over their job-creation records as governor during the Republican presidential debate Wednesday night, they left the bad parts out.
Yes, employment has grown by more than 1 million since Perry took office in Texas. But a lot of those jobs are not well paid.

Well....didn't take long for the White House staff to send the DNC rebuttal and attack points to the AP after the debate, looks like.
I don't recall ANY Democrat debate getting this pick-apart treatment, do you?

So....94.7% of Texans make more than minimum wage?! Dang! That’s pretty amazing, don’t you think? Including teenagers and all the uneducated?

Did anybody in the debate bring up the elimination of corporate taxes, or getting rid of the permanent political class?

Obama has not created any jobs, has lost 7 million jobs, and they get paid $0.

Pathetic.
The AP can't dispute the truthfulness of the claims, so they try their best to provide a left-wing rebuttal to them.

This bilge came straight out of the White House! The AP is nothing more than the propaganda arm of the Dimocrat(intentionally misspelled) party!

The AP should have done a little fact checking before this Obama fool became President. How about fact checking at WH !

What a load of krap. Perry created 422,000 jobs in the private sector, only 1/3 were low paying jobs. Doesn’t unskilled labor needs jobs too? Kids just out of high school with no skills just starting out, or kids going on to college? Not everybody is a rocket scientist, or going to be.

NOPE! because Perry and Romney ARE members of the permanent political class and have mastered the art of corporate giveaways-—and the others, perhaps with the exception of Ron Paul-—are all willing cronies should they have to settle for the VP spot or something.
PALIN 2012!

Anyone want to bet that Calvin wrote this before the debate?
How about bets on where he got his stats?

So....94.7% of Texans make more than minimum wage?! Dang! Thats pretty amazing, dont you think? Including teenagers and all the uneducated? I have never had a minimum wage job and neither do most teens in my state. Min wage is just symbolic. Most places start higher than min wage.
Not so amazing
