In between Martini’s, Rufie’s and Anonymous Men, I doubt Brian Williams has any trouble sleeping.

Perhaps Perry was tired from the wildfires and recent back surgery. He has My vote is for him so far. Gingrich was killing it and I was thinking he would be an outside the box VP pick. Definitely smartest guy in the room.

I would expect he was tired, but I don't want to go the way of seeming to be putting up excuses for someone I am admiring more and more as I see more of him. A President has to (or should have to) be a clear communicator no matter how tired, stressed or injured they are.

Gingrich as VP - not sure how well that would fly if Perry takes the nomination. They are both stubbornly opinionated and have different takes on what conservatism actually is. Gingrich would be far better used elsewhere - can you imagine him running the treasury!

Interesting thought though. This is going to be a long and fascinating campaign this time round!
