Congress can't pass a speech Other than this speech, there is no proposal for the "American Jobs Act."
Notice that he just said, "This is the American Jobs Act," but he didn't hold up a bill or any paper.
As of now, there is no mention of the phrase "American Jobs Act" on the Whitehouse website. They should have released their proposed bill. Congress can't pass a speech.
There is no mention of the phrase "American Jobs Act" on any house member's website, not on any Democrat's site, not on any Republican's site, not on any committee site.

He misses the point.
We can't afford to do either!
We're borrowing close to 40 cents of every dollar the Congress (an this President) spends. Even worse, we're borrowing a lot of that money out of thin air.
