A Tribute of slides and footage to the lives lost September 11 2001. Music: Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning) by Alan Jackson
This is graphic so if you don't want to see footage from the towers then do not click on.
As would be reported today:
Early this morning in an unprovoked assault on Pearl Harbor, unknown Enemy Combatants from a Far Eastern Country, attacked our Navy Base with untold numbers of casualties resulting.
The Secretary of War (yes, they actually had a Secretary of WAR back then) vowed that these Insurgents who caused this Man-made Disaster would not go unpunished.
President Roosevelt in a joint address before Congress stated that this Day of Intolerance would not be forgotten and effective immediately, A State of Overseas Contingency Operations now exists between the United States and Whomever it was that was responsible and we will immediately launch a number of Kinetic Actions in response.
However, we must remember that these Assailants no doubt believed they were justified in their actions due to our (the US) insensitivities and our past misdeeds to include have supported their enemies as well as having occupied countries in their hemisphere.
Therefore, we should make every effort to try and understand their perspective and thus we will refrain from using any inflammatory language or examine their motives for having launched these attacks and we should not judge them too harshly, less we offend them, because they no doubt come from Socio-Economically-challenged backgrounds and moreover, simply Misunderstand that which is the root cause of their hate and anger.
Thank you and may Mom Gaia Bless the United States of America."
Thanks for posting.

PS to my post above: There’s a wonderful video link there.
BTW- yesterday, I watched the memorial service from Shanksville, PA. It was attended by Bush, Clinton and Biden. Their speeches were moving and respectfully supportive of each other. Biden was particularly impressive. I know he didn't write the words, but his delivery was passionate and moving. I'd like to see it again. I hope it shows up on YouTube.
What I took from the event was how effective we can be when we cooperate and drop the combative attitudes and partisanship. Yesterday, these three men were simply Americans speaking from their hearts.
